Works great with QNAP TS-469L

I ordered this memory module to upgrade the RAM of my QNAP TS-469L. The NAS booted properly, and recognized the RAM for a total of 3GB. So far, the NAS is working great.

This module has 8 chips; 4 on each side as depicted in the photo.

Based on comments in different forums about upgrading the RAM for QNAP units with 2GB DDR3-1333 SODIMM, it seems you need memory modules that have 8 chips on them. Apparently, memory modules with 16 chips (8 on each side) are not compatible with QNAP units. Please be aware that the same part # under several memory brands may have 8 or 16 chips. I am not aware this is the case with Samsung memory modules.

It's like a whole New Computer!!

I ordered this product for my Presario cq56. I recently upgraded the hard drive to a SanDisk SSD and windows 7 Ultimate. The computer was blazing fast but the Stock RAM was having a hard time keeping up. The chip set in the unit can only handle 4 gig so I bought two of these and plugged them in. The difference was immediately noticeable, even after you take into account the difference the hard drive made.

This is such a cheap and easy way to improve an old machine, I would recommend it for anyone who is becoming disenfranchised with their laptop.

Good for what it is

My mom has an acer aspire one netbook which came with 1gb of RAM and it just wasn't enough. I wish the netbook would allow more than 2GB but it has made a difference and it runs much faster. Obviously since it's a netbook it wasn't as easy to install as it would be in say a desktop, but you just remove the keyboard, unscrew the back-plate, pop it off, take out the old one and snap in the new one.

The price was fantastic, it shipped quickly and arrived fast with good packing. Best of all it made my mom happy for her birthday so it was well worth it.

I bought this memory and when I put the PC does not work (the PC does not start) my PC is an ACER 1 GB DDR3. the original memory is KN1GB0H01710700E981601 - UNIFOSA 1.5 V EP -GU672203EP0200. When I return to the original memory, is regular (usually starts). defective or wrong memory? Thank await return.

Works as what I expected.
Used to have 2GB in my laptop and with this upgrade I have 4GB. Change in performance is very noticeable.

Maybe not enough for new laptops cause they usually have 4GB - 8GB, but if you plan to upgrade your 1 or 2GB ram, it's very good alternative compare to 4 - 8GB rams for its price.
