Works a charm on my thinkpad T61 with Linux

Years ago when I bought the Laptop, I was too cheap to buy 4 GBs, because that cost a lot back then. Having Linux installed on the Laptop helped a lot too, 2 GB was plenty, not so with Windows since Vista was such a f**** resource hog (which I am glad I could erase and install Linux right away). Now, years later, 4 releases of Linux later, everything needs more ram and 4 GB hits the spot perfectly (you would probably again need 8 GB if you were so foolish to run Windows ;-)
The Ram works perfectly, it is of the same type I had already. Check what exact RAM your laptop is using and make sure you get the same type.

Exact Ram I needed.

I'm not sure why the item has "2 pack" on the image. I believe this is an error, and needs to be changed since no where in the title or description does it say that we get 2 ram sticks (2X2GB). Anyways, what you get once shipped is 1 2GB Samsung ram stick and that's all. It arrived in a timely manner (5 days), and was packaged extremely well (it even came in a pink anti-static sleeve). I works just fine in the laptop (Gateway T-6345u) I needed it for. Unfortunately, I couldn't test it in dual channel, since for some reason my laptop refused to post/boot with the original stick and the new stick installed. However, instead of sending it back I'm going to use it as a replacement just in case the original one dies.

Good piece of memory and exactly as described

I took a risk here, but eventually I'm very pleased. I wanted to couple the existing stick in my old-and-good but significantly slowed down Acer Aspire One 1410. The memory arrived exactly as described and seen in picture and now, my Acer works even slightly better than it did when it was new several years back (although it also had less memory) - nice boost for a buck.
