Not a steady 19 volts.

The laptop power adapter I was delivered put out an erratic 19 volts. Upon checking with my multimeter, I found the voltage was jumping around rapidly from 19 volts to 20.5 volts--this while only plugged into the wall and not even connected to the laptop. In comparison, the factory original adapter that came with my Samsung notebook puts out a steady 19.3 volts.
This kind of voltage fluctuation might be ok to use as is, but I just bought this new laptop and I don't want to be taking any chances. I was looking for a spare power adapter to keep around for emergencies and for traveling. This one did not inspire any confidence for me.

Update 06/13/2012: The power adapter has been returned. I received my refund plus return shipping cost today.

i lost my charger and bought a replacement but it failed in less than two weeks so i went for an original Samsung replacement. This is the same as my original Samsung one which came with the laptop and was also cheaper than the PWR one which failed. It is made in China like most things but is better quality than the last one I had. it is good quality working perfectly.

This is the same adapter that comes with the Samsung laptop. However, Samsung's power supply is made in China by Delta Electronics. There's no reason to believe that this power supply is superior to other Chinese power supplies.
