Great laptop for everyday use like getting on the internet, banking, watching movies.
windows 8 takes a bit to get used to tho. If your wanting a great little basic laptop i recommend this one.

Run Away!!

I bought this computer about a month ago, set it up, worked fine....until I tried to type on it. The space key needed to be hit several times, I looked up and I had one long sentence. Tried again, same thing. Called customer support, told me it was a software problem and I would have to buy a warranty. Even I knew it wasn't a software problem. Called another number and was told to send it back and that I would receive an email in a half an hour. No email. Went out of town for several weeks, called support again, the computer couldn't understand me went I said Model number and I couldn't understand the computer voice..finally it said "connect you to customer service" and hung up. This was repeated several times. Finally got a human and explained to him, he had the information from the much earlier call asked why I was never emailed or called back. He said "she couldn't get an authorization"?? So, I have recieved an email and I have to pay $24.95 for a box to send a machine, that didn't work correctly out of the box, to be repaired.

I have not been very happy with this laptop

I have not been very happy with this laptop. Everything just seems really cheap. It tends to be really slow. Windows 8 doesn't help anything. I have to hit keyboard keys and track pad buttons multiple times to get them to register sometimes. Doesn't always connect automatically to my home wifi. And the sound is absolutely horrible on this laptop even when I plug in earphones the sound quality is the same poor quality. I would not recommend this computer to anyone that I liked. It's one redeeming quality is that it has decent battery life, and it was an inexpensive computer. However I would rather have my money back on this one.

good basic computer

Getting used to the operating system is troublesome, but other than that, most has been fine. After about a week, the touch pad started shutting off automatically, which hitting F5 will undo. A little slower than anticipated.
