Pwr+ Adapter a Good Replacement

The Pwr+ AC adapter is a dandy replacement for the Toshiba charger that came with the laptop. It should give anyone a lot of service. The thing you need to be aware of (this is probably true of any laptop charger) is that the thing you will probably wear out is the thin little cord that actually plugs into the laptop. My problem is that I actually use the computer in my lap, and I managed to wear out the Toshiba charger by bending that little plug-in end about one time too many. I learned my lesson, and I'm being more careful with the new one. But I'll probably wear it out. However, for the convenience of a laptop, it's worth it.

Great for Laptops! Better for your Budget!

This is an excellent adapter for those on a budget. Similar adapters will run anywhere from $30-$50, depending on where you go. I bought this for my girlfriend about a month or so ago because her charger was stolen on a trip we recently took to the bay area, and we have not noticed any issues (she uses it every day). One small thing to note is that sometimes the connection between the adapter (big black box) and the actual cord you plug into your computer can be a bit loose, so be sure the connection is secure before booting anything up or plugging anything in to prevent any fire hazards. Other than that, this is a wonderful product and I would certainly purchase it again.

Great replacement charger and long cable.

This charger does what it is supposed to do. It is also a decent length that allows me to plug in across the room without a an extension cord. It gets hot, but no hotter than the original Toshiba charger that came with the laptop. I had an unfortunate accident and dropped my laptop from a dinner tray and it landed on the plug in and snapped the metal tip off the charging cable. This cable was an excellent replacement and I see no reason to pay the high price of the Toshiba charger.

It has worked perfectly and it is very nice having the long cord. y desk is such where the outlet is a bit farther than I prefer and this cord reaches wonderfully to where I need it.
