Does its job well after it is applied

i had to order a second one because the first one attracted way too much dust while applying and it result in dirty-looking bubbles that were pretty much permanent. the second one i was able to apply more smoothly but attracting even just a few particles of dust is inevitable; i think it is because of the microfiber cloth it comes with. the second one also came with 2 creases that appear to come from finger nails and it left two permanent bubbles. It is a good screen protector though, especially for a touchscreen laptop, it is just difficult to apply a protector for this large of a surface.

Really helped with the glare

I have a Toshiba Satellite "14 touch screen laptop. It is a great laptop, but there is a terrible glare even inside. It was making my computer almost un-enjoyable so I wanted a screen protector that cut down on the glare. I also thought it would be nicer for touching the screen. Well, it did both well. The glare is at least 5 times better and my fingers don't stick to the screen anymore. Great Product.

Works well to reduce glare outdoors and installation not difficult.

I am so happy I purchased this screen protector. It fits my Toshiba 14" Satellite laptop perfectly, and really reduces the glare from the shiny screen. I took my laptop outdoors and had no trouble seeing the screen, or finding the mouse prompt. It completely blocks the mirror effect of the light from some window when indoors.

I followed the instructions very carefully and ended up with one dust spot bubble. It's in a corner so I'm not too worried about it. My tip is to not peel the first mask off completely when you start. Just remove about an inch from the edge so you can position and reposition as necessary until you get the screen lined up properly. This will reduce the possibility of any dust getting on the film if you have to move it. Also, I used a credit card instead of the included application stick to work bubbles out as I went. The piece of cardboard included is just too flimsy.

Good anti-glare screen protector

I wish I'd gotten this for my Acer Aspire right after purchase. I'm not used to using a screen protector on my laptops. But the screen on my Aspire was getting marked by the space bar when the lid was closed. This protector will eliminate that. But the best part is to reduce the glare in bright sunlight. This protector has made the Aspire quite readable now in bright sunlight. I had to cut this protector down to size to fit my 13.3 inch Aspire. But that worked fine.

Works with a touch screen.

I find this product to have good protection, to work well with a touch screen, but to be somewhat hard to apply.

I was unable to find a custom fit screen protector for my ultra book (which has a touch screen), so I ordered this one. I have a 12.5 inch screen, but this protector actually fit fine, overlapping the screen but not past the edge of the ultra book.

One has to be careful when applying the protector. It is best done in a room where there is little dust, and it should be applied quickly. If a small speck of dust gets on the protector while applying, a little scotch tape can be used to pull it off. I ended up with a small speck of dust, but decided to let it be. As for bubbles, you need a use a stiff piece of cardboard to work them out, but the best practice is to be careful when applying the protector, so fewer bubbles get there in the first place. Apply from one side to the other.

I am pleased to report that this protector works fine with my touch screen tablet/laptop. I was afraid the touch sensitivity would be impacted, but I have no problems with it.

Summary: A bit difficult to apply, but it works well once it is in place. Recommended.

DOES NOT WORK WITH ACER ASPIRE TIMELINEU 14!!

i was very exited when i ordered this screen shield/protector... i ordered it with other items which all got delivered quickly and hazzle free, as all other packages i have ordered from Amazon.com...
When i opened the box and saw the screen protector i was amazed by its quality, includes 2 cloths and a ''flattening out'' tool to get rid of bubbles...
Sadly when i was going to start the process of putting it on, i saw that it was too small for my Acer Aspire TimelineU 14....
beware if you have one of these computers, DO NOT BUY!
DOES NOT WORK WITH ACER ASPIRE TIMELINEU 14!!
i have to say it is great quality shield if it were to fit.... for those people giving this screen protector poor reviews because of its ''complicated installation'', i have to tell you: if you cannot put a screen protector on correctly... maybe you don't belong near a computer.... just my 2cents....
Still gave it 4 stars for awesome packaging and fast shipping, plus great product quality....
My mistake for not making sure it would fit on my Acer....
