LOVE this purse

It IS shiny, but doesn't look "cheap" in my opinion. It's ginormous and fits all my stuff (and somewhere along the line I turned into my mother - - i.e., always packing as though I might be deserted on an island somewhere). I've had other big purses/laptop totes and although they've held up, they appear to strain under the weight. This bag is pretty stiff, and doesn't appear to be overloaded (no bulges, no stretched straps). I'm going to buy a second one in brown. : )

I am always on a never ending quest for the perfect work bag - one that can be functional enough for my iPad, chargers, make up, phone, wallet, etc. But - one that also is beautiful, eye catching. One that looks like a purse, not a brief case. This is it. This light weight, soft, shiny patent leather (which is real leather) bag is exactly what I wanted for day to day work and especially for travel. I bought red and I absolutely love it. I also think it is a great value.

My Favorite

I received this laptop tote as a Christmas present just a few weeks ago and have gotten a lot of use out of it since then, It fits my 15" MacBook Pro perfectly. I can carry my computer, books, wallet, daytime planner, phone, etc. in it without any problems. I brought it with as my carry-on for my most recent flight and it fit under the seat in front of me without a problem. I had to twist the handle so that it would sit comfortably on top of my rolling luggage at the airport (so I could wheel both at once and not have anything over my shoulder) without falling, but it is not made for that particular application, so I can't complain. It has long straps that easily fit over one's shoulders. The Italian leather is nice and shiny and it looks very sleek and sophisticated. Amazon.com sells this bag at almost $175 less than the Siamod website. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone who needs a classy, sophisticated looking "bag" for travel, school, work or play.

Great Tote

I was in the market for a laptop tote. I wanted to have a polished look for my new job. I am out in the field most of the time, and I am doing a lot of traveling on airplanes. This tote is almost perfect for what I need it for. My only issue is I wish it was a tad bit bigger. I would like it to hold a bit more, but I can fit my Macbook Air, a binder, files, a small wallet, and all my chords. The other thing I wish this had is more compartments for the chords. I have them all stuffed in the side zippered compartment, and it would be useful if I could organize them, so I'm not always digging for the correct chord. All in all, I really like this bag, and am happy with my purchase so far.

I have been using it steadily for a month now.

hight quality -fit my Macbook pro 17

Having just bought the 17" Macbook pro, I really wanted to find a stylish bag to carry it in. That turned out to be a LOT harder than I expected. According to Siamod's description, my Macbook pro 17" would be too large for this bag. However, I took a gamble, and ordered it anyways. My macbook fits in the Serra like a glove! The bag is made of high quality leather, and looks very professional.

Wish They Kept The Old Design With the Large Back Pocket (sigh)

I ordered this Siamod bag to replace a similar one in brown leather that I have had for several years and which I ADORE!!! I use it every day, so it was beginning to look "well loved."

Unfortunately, my previous bag had two side pockets (ok, I don't ever use the second side pocket) and a LARGE back pocket, which I miss...very much. the back pocket was the perfect size to hold items I needed to access easily, like important papers, my keys or my office badge. While I wish they had not redesigned this bag, it is still beautiful, easy to clean and I often receive compliments.

Also, I LOVE the seller. I needed the bag for an important meeting. I ordere the bag on a Tuesday and it arrived by Friday, mid-morning.
