What I liked:
• The cooling pad was lightweight but not fragile in the least bit.
• It gave me an extra USB port to plug my mouse into.
• It is easy to use on my lap and not just my computer desk.
• I use it on my Alienware m15x laptop and it helps tremendously while playing games. I used to have to take breaks to let my laptop cool down and now my laptop never heats up!

What I didn't like:
• I am not able to turn off the blue LED's while the fans are on.
• USB Cord doesn't have a place to snap into on the pad from what I can tell.

This product has the quietest fans I have ever heard in my life! So quiet its possible a light sleeper wouldn't wake up if it was on right next to them. I am a gamer geek and I have so many products to try and accomidate for my many needs and haven't been quite successful till this product. It goes with my blue glowing collection of speakers and my mouse! I have absolutely no over heating problems and this product is light enough to carry around for hours with ease. I love that the clips can move in such a wide range to accomidate for different size items such as my laptop or my tablet. Which ever i feel like being on at the time. The adjustable supports are very convenient in the back and stay secure. I would only change the fact that the clips can move so freely and when you DO carry it around they are very loud and clang a lot. I had no issues with the shipping it came right on time in the afternoon through UPS. And I also want to point out that it is very easy to use and operate this product. I had a 2 minute struggle at a birds eye view angle trying to figure out how to turn it on. You connect it to the laptop/tablet/etc. And then just push the little button in the top/back! Very simple.

Keeps my laptop running cool.

This stand works really well for me so far. I have had it a couple of weeks and since I have been using my laptop with it the internal fan does not need to kick on high near as often. The fans are pretty quiet you can hear them but the laptop fan itself is much louder than the fans in the stand. The led lights look cool but an option to turn them on and off separately from the fan would be nice. The stands ability to sit at different angles is helpful and it makes viewing movies, pictures, and games easier when the screen is closer to eye level. I would recommend this to someone with a gaming laptop they want to run a little cooler as in my case or someone who likes to use their laptop as a portable tv and wants the screen to be easier to view.

It is cheap plastic material so don't abuse it too much. On the other hand VERY functional and keeps my laptop nice and cool. Nice cooling platform but a minor fixable problem using it with a 17" Macbook Pro

The only downside I have found so far is that the bottom will not lay flat on the table with my 17" Macbook Pro. It rocks back and forth! This is because the plastic bottom has a riser pad placed 2/3 of the way to the back and my 17", once opened up has a center of gravity right around this point, so it constantly teeters. Why didn't they put the riser pad all the way in the back? Weird! I will fix that by buying a pad for the back that will stabilize it. Other than that, I like it (and I hope the fan motors have a long life (unlike competitors' models).
