I was going to return this because it didn't fit the keyboard I ordered it for. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it fits the new Dell M331R-5535 computer I just bought perfectly! Difficult to type

This keypad cover fits nicely onto my Dell Inspiron, right to every single key. But things go downhill from there. It makes typing a very difficult task and is thus not recommended for people with the need to be efficient typists. And no, you don't "grow into" the cover. Moreover, the cover is black and opaque and is thus inconvenient sometimes.

ordered this because both my daughters ordered skins that were so cute and such a great fit. yea, this is definitely not the one they got. this just doesn't fit on the keys well. yes, it is layed out right, but it just kinda floats around when you type. it is very, very thin and "waffley" for lack of a better term.

Sticky Keys (Pun Intended)

It, without a doubt, instantly made my laptop more personalized and just that simple addition made it all the more unique as well as comforting. However, it's not all thay comforting because typing with it on my keyboard feels restrictive and less accurate when hitting a key. For those who are used to typing moderately fast, this will slow down your speed. I'm hoping it still needs to be broken in and adapted to being stretched out over a keyboard, but as of now it makes typing anything a vexing challenge. Something about typing on silicone seems like it would be better but, to me, it feels like my fingers are ice skating without skates on because it is slippery and you begin to struggle. For the most part you have to hit a single key multiple times before you can actually get it to register that character. Any one looking to buy this that is a heavy essay writer on Word Document or is needing to submit college applications or addicted to online gaming, this is not ideal for you. Yet at the ssme time, if your concern only regards customizing your laptop to stand out and be cool or to protect your keyboard from dust, liquids, sticky substances, ect. then yeah sure; buy it. I could just be writing a review to quickly and might have to actually get used to typing with a keyboard condom as I call it, but if this cover makes it difficult to type which defeats the purpose of using keyboard.

green semi-transparent not 100% as shown, still satisfied though

I got the Green Semitransparent cover, and was a little disappointed that it had black letters and not white as shown in the image, which is the only reason for not giving 5 stars. I haven't used it much yet, but it definitely takes a bit of getting used to, especially if you drag your fingers across the keyboard to move between keys like I do, as the silicone is slightly "sticky" and your fingers will not slide along it.
Also, it was advertised as coming with a credit card case and I did not receive one. That didn't bother me as I don't need a credit card case, but if that's a deciding factor for you, just keep that in mind. However, I did receive a microfiber cloth, which is far more useful anyways.

Inaccurate Description

In the picture shown, the keyboard cover appears to have another number key area to the right of the backspace, enter, and shift keys. However, this product is NOT as shown in the picture. Do not waste your money, because it won't fit the models listed in the description, either. If I want a keyboard cover in the future, I've learned I have to buy it in person to make sure it actually fits the size and keyboard type, because Amazon descriptions by this company are entirely inaccurate.

Cooking-proof

I originally decided to purchase this because I often pull up recipes on my laptop and will have it sitting on the counter while I cook. There was an incident with flour on my keyboard; luckily it didn't cause any damage. But it made me think that it might be good to protect the keyboard because I still frequently cook with it. I was a little bit nervous about ordering this mostly because of size, but it fits my Dell Inspiron 15R great! It takes a little bit of getting used to, just because it feels slightly different when you type-- but not in a bad way! It is water resistant and if you were by chance to spill something like flour on your keyboard, you're not trying to blow it out hoping that it doesn't get under the keys. You just take off the cover, wash it off, and dry it well before you put it back on. Great for the low price!
