What a case! It makes me feel like an executive.

This envelope styled case gives my Macbook air a new look with a good protection.
Not only the gray case has a very professional look and feel, but it has the best perfectly match to the color of my wool jacket.
Its professional look gives me some confidence carry my Macbook to daily meeting because I do feel like an executive at my team meeting [No, I am not an executive though].
The case has a magnetic button to quickly snap to close/open the case.
The case also comes with a smaller separated case which allows me to carry the Macbook's power adapter and USB flash drives.
The whole case can fit in my messenger laptop bag easily.
I am very satisfied with this case and highly recommend it to anyone who needs to protect their Macbook and yet at the same time to look likea professional.

Elegant design. Good quality.

This case is specifically marketed for the Apple 13” Macbook, but it can accommodate any similar size Notebook, Laptop etc .
It is made of dark grey felt and light brown PU leather (sub-standard cowhide, harvested very thin and coated with polyurethane for color and texture. It is known to peel after prolonged use). The main compartment stretches up to 0.80” and closes with a magnetic flap. It can easily fit a Macbook Air 13” or an iPad Air but is a bit snug for a Macbook 13”, when flap will not close. A felt wallet (6” x 4”), secured by an elastic band, is included for carrying an adapter, power charger, cord, or mobile phone. Both case and wallet have gaps/holes in the bottom corners (this allows the sides to stretch) from which small objects may fall off.

PROS: Elegant design of felt and leather, color and texture combination.
Slim profile and lightweight.
Extra wallet convenient for carrying accessories.
Good construction, solid stitching.
Made of “green” eco-friendly materials (tag reads La vie vert, sic.).

CONS: Thin felt, protects from scratches but not impact.
PU leather tendency to peel.
Lack of divider or compartments in main case.
Absence of elastic band to secure main flap.

In my opinion, this is an average case that is value priced. Falls short when compared to some other brands of “felt and leather” cases.

Understated Elegance - 13 inch Air or Ultrabook Sleeve

Felt is one of those environmentally friendly materials that look great in an understated way. This laptop sleeve has a couple of extra details that if better executed would have made this an incredible sleeve.

This is designed for MacBook Air and Ultrabook - the super-thin laptops that have no optical drive. This is not for a standard thickness laptop, like a MacBook Pro or the standard laptops - they are too thick for this sleeve. The sleeve measures 12 inches by just over 8 inches and is just over 1 inch thick. The flap closure is a magnetic button clasp that holds reasonably well (with a fat laptop inside, it doesn't catch).

There is a slick little pouch included with the sleeve. This is the right size for a Mac AC adapter if you do not attach the long AC cord. With the long AC cord attached, the flap and elastic band will close, but you'll see cord. Non-Mac AC adapters flat out don't fit.

That pouch is awesome for portable hard drives, cables, powerbank batteries, or a mouse.

I love the look of this sleeve. The sides and hand grip area with "leather" look spectacular. The problem with those accents, they are made of really inexpensive, poorly finished PU leather. Now I love PU leather - I've seen some amazing examples. This is way too shiny and plastic - it doesn't feel good in my hand. That hand area would be so much nicer in full hide leather (and yes the price would go up - but it would be worth it). PU leather is cow hide that has not met quality standards. The slice it thin and then apply a polyurethane (PU) coating for color, finish, and texture. PU leather does not get softer over time, it simply peels.

Nice looking felt case

This review is for the Sinoguo Gray Felt/Leather Tablet Case (11 inch size).

Included with the case is a small wallet for holding a mouse or charger.

This case is all felt (dark grey) and normally I am not a fan of the look of these felt type case, but this one actually had a nice look with its dark grey color and brown PU (fake leather) accent at the bottom and on the sides. The coloring and accent make it look less like a plain felt case. The case seems to well-made, durably stitched soft tablet case but I do feel that the felt could be a bit thicker for better tablet protection. The case has a magnetic clasp that holds the flap in place pretty well even when I turn the case upside down with my 8 inch tablet inside (although I don’t personally recommend trying that). This also has a wallet size case with a stretchable strap that wraps around and keeps the flap closed that I am using for my tablet power supply. It is also nice quality as well. I would have liked to have some type of handle or wrist strap for the case and possibly a stretchable strap to help secure the flap in addition to the clasp.

Overall, I like the look of the case, although I feel the felt is a bit thinner than others I have tried. I also would like to have a wrist strap or handle with this as well.
