Higher Snap Placement Best Suited for Bulky Packing

The snap on this particular case is a bit higher than usual - which likely accounts for those who have trouble with "missing the snap". Frankly, I was have the same exact issue myself. However, this slightly higher snap does translate into more practical bulk space. Once I put in a Microsoft SP3 with a UAG case on as well as a rather larger 20,000mAh battery in the front pocket, the extra bulk made snapping the clasp much easier. However, for less packed circumstances, yes... I have to constantly look under the leather strap and visually align the snap buttons.

Classy Case for Light Use

If you are not the sort to bash your Macbook around and all you need is a classy lightweight protective cover; you will love this. Do not buy this to protect your case from on-the-go hard use. It is what it claims to be- a simple felt jacket for your Macbook.

The front pocket can hold loose papers and the clasp is okay but doesn't close it very securely.

I give this a five star because it is not designed to protect your case from hard use but rather to be used more as a dust cover sleeve.

Mac Jacket

The case is made of felt. I received the dark grey one. It is a jacket, not a laptop bag. The jacket is supposed to act as a buffer against dust and scratches.
Pros:
The overall look of the case is quite decent.
The stitching is sturdy. I tugged on the case quite a bit to see if it will rip apart. It passed the test.
The case holds my Macbook Air 13" fairly well.
It has an external pocket on the front, that can hold your charger, a mouse, flash drive or other accessories. It doesn't have room to hold all of them, since it is a jacket not a laptop bag.
The edges are covered with brown leather. The leather is actually what makes the case look so stylish.

Cons:
The latch or clasp on the front is not strong. It is a magnetic clasp, so don't rely on it to hold your laptop securely if you're carrying the jacket upside down.

I received a review copy of the product. I believe that my review is unbiased and honest. The jacket comes out to be what is advertised. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Pretty nice, wish it were a bit more snug

This is a pretty nice laptop sleeve for the price (on sale for $13 at the time of my purchase). It's quite simple, with a few pockets for extras and a strap to hold down the main flap. The one I have seems well made, with clean stitching and sturdy but soft fabric.

I have two complaints but they are pretty minor.

1) I wish the sleeve were a little more snug on my Macbook (15" pro retina). It fits fine for the most part but seems to be about an inch too long with the laptop in place. It probably doesn't matter, I just like it when things can't rattle around.

2) The little pen loop is very tight! Only after I took the cap off my pen was I able to wiggle it in there. On the other hand, this is a feature that most people will probably never use. If you do you can at least rest assured that your pen will not go anywhere.

For Those Seeking That Perfect Formal yet Comfortable Touch

A good felt case with single but sturdy uniform stitching. This particular case has 2 front pockets with room enough for USB cables and a slim portable battery. The felt body measured at 2mm all around (using digital calipers), and although the main interior does not have a second layer covering the pocket stitching,yet the 2mm thick felt will act as decent cushioning in itself as well as making a comfortable lap mat while using your device.

The only reason I personally can't give a full 5 stars is that the elastic band's stretching feels "soft". It stretches, but the way it re-asserts its form gives the impression that it may lose elasticity over time if you have particularly bulky items in the pockets. However, if you keep the contents to a fairly trim profile, there really ought not be much of an issue with the band. The band itself and side pen holder are also securely stitched in.

I do know that this will easily hold an ASUS Netbook (what my mother most commonly uses) along with a rather firm fit with the 15" MacBook. All in all, for those who love felt (and I am one of them), this is a nice, traditional "Bank" felt product that shall look just right in any formal environment and complement your business attire.

I purchased this sleeve for my 2013 Macbook Air.
I really like the overall look of the product. I think its a nice mix between professional and casual. The material kinda feels like carpet but it is pretty soft. I think it serves more as a scratch protector. I probably wouldn't carry just this around; mmost likely would use a backpack with it. However, I think many people would be pretty content with just using this sleeve without anything like a backpack.

Overall, I would highly recommed this case. It's perfect for what I was looking for. It looks great and has the functionality I need.
