Lots of space, rolls ok but some drawbacks.

I bought this case to haul all my teaching stuff around campus. I have a good 10 minute walk over sidewalks between two of the classes I teach and have been using it for 3 months. Here is my evaluation:

Good

Very spacious inside compartment The top folds over twice, then the handle sticks through the two flaps and it clicks shut with two buckles.

Large front pocket, fits my netbook.

Smaller "organizer pocket" in front for pens, pencil.

Very stable, the wide stance means it does not tip over easily.

With handle down it is stable standing on its own.

Handle is sturdy.

The biggest compartment is very stiff, so it is easy to root around in it and look for stuff.

Bad:

The file folder holders (which are detachable) are useless. You can hang maybe 3 file folders on them, they always come off and they take up a lot of room.

The wheels are plastic and loud when rolling across concrete (even the polished concrete indoors).
Skate type wheels would have been better.

The handle only clicks into place fully down or fully extended.

Ugly:
I hate how you have to put both flaps down and close the buckles in order to pick it up by the handle because the handle is attached to one of the flaps. Not sure how else they would design it though.

Overall this works for me, but if you are dragging it on uneven surfaces I would look for one with skate type wheels.

Great Rolling Case

This case is not for Laptops over 15" and IT DOES have a padded area for the Laptop to help protect it. I like the handle because it extends out longer than other cases (I'm Tall) and has compartments to carry folders and books along with a separate compartment for cell phones pens and other school supplies. Great for school. Great price for the money.

Easy to move around if you don't mind bulk

Previously I had a similar shoulder bag with filing pockets and a compartment for a wide-screen laptop (and before that a similar smaller bag which could not hold my wide-screen). The downside of that bag was lugging it around. Usually I would put the laptop in the filing pocket and carry books in the other side. A bag is very personal to me, almost as personal as the laptop itself, and frequently used if not daily. It has to do the job. This new Solo case has one outstanding feature--the wheels and handle. I had a lot of trouble carrying the previous bag with lots of contents--it was too heavy, hard to pick up and put down, and the shoulder pad on the strap was shredding after a while (little black specks of rubber on my shirt). This new bag at first turned me off due to the bulk and the "squarishness," but I am getting used to it. The carrying compartment has more space, but a strange separate velcro-tabbed pocket for the laptop which is impossible to close right (although it doesn't need to be). But the bag has more space and is easy to carry around. You can easily fit several books in with the laptop into the carrying compartment, and that was a primary need for me.

Great Case

I've used this case for about 5 years and it's been great! I wanted a small, light-weight case to bring my laptop back and forth to work every day. I'm tall and the handle is a great length for me. The ad for this case says it holds up to 15.6" case and it works great with mine. I'm finally going to order a new case as, after 5 years, the wheels are sticking a little and there are wear signs on the case fabric.

I don't know why people are complaining that it won't hold a larger laptop because the add clearly says 15.6".

I fully recommend it.

I wanted the bag that was pictured a B151-41, the one with an outside pocket on the end and not having recessed ends. The pictures showed the bag made of ballistic cloth with one outside pocket on the end. After going back in and taking a closer look at the pictures there is one out of all the pictures that matches what was delivered a B78-4.
One should be able to trust that the main picture will be that of the item that actually ships.

One other reviewer said it before - if you put anything heavy in the outside flap this thing will tip over UNLESS you do have the laptop inside the main case to counter-balance the use of the outside pockets. Otherwise, nice looking, sturdy, good handle length (longer I mean - I am tall). I just wish the main compartment was a little bigger - just another inch or two in width and a third center-leg under the outside pocket for the tipping problem.

This briefcase is a good choice for someone looking for a lightweight, compact rolling briefcase (e.g., for daily commutes to the office) rather than a roomier piece of luggage for business trips. I've been using it for two months and it appears to be of decent quality -- the collapsing handle is beginning to stick in place, but otherwise it's holding up well. Notably, although the marketing images for this briefcase depict a key clip, that feature has been discontinued, so my briefcase arrived without a clip. I have confirmed with the manufacturer (SOLO) that the clip has indeed been discontinued, so don't be surprised when it's missing.
