The case was everything that we expected. My wife uses it for college class. She has enough room for her Dell laptop and three enormous text books. The organizer pockets are extremely helpful for pens/pencils/highlighters. The handle comes out easy and the wheels are holding up nicely so far. If you receive a similar one I believe you will have no problems with it and enjoy the spacious room it affords. It looks nice and professional too.

I bought this for my husband who has a 17.3 inch Asus laptop computer. It barely fit into this, but I blame the design of the computer rather than the bag. The bag is very well made, and if you have a 17.3 Asus I wouldn't recommend it, and most other 17.3 inch computers will be quite snug and secure. There are plenty of compartments for all your other necessities too. He has cables, his tablets, as well as a spare mouse (in addition to lots of other things I am afraid to ask about). Solo is our favorite brand for this type of thing, and the quality did not disappoint us.

My Asus G74SX fits, but it is very snug.

My Asus G74SX just barely fits in to it. The Asus G7x models (at least the ones I have seen) have a thick rear end, as in twice as big as the front. This being the case (no pun intended), the only way my G74SX will fit in this case is upside down, with the rear at the top of the case. The zipper will close, but it is very snug.
I would like to have seen some padding or thicker material used in the zipper area, so that there is a bit more protection.

Plenty of pockets for a tablet and whatever other gadgets that the road warrior may want to take along.
The telescoping handle is hidden in a zippered chamber and works good.

I have several Solo products and this is the first one I have not been overjoyed with.

Beware the wheels!

The fabric and the design is okay and pretty good for working or studying. The wheel wore out within 3 months, and there is little way to change the wheel.

Good Choice But Too Early to Know for Sure

So far this is working pretty well for me. LOTS of room for files, etc. I had trouble finding an affordable case for my 17" Dell and this has plenty of room for it. Other reviews mentioned the flimsy retractable handle so I'm taking special care to treat it gently....so far so good!
