I work on my laptop, countless hours a day. I ashamed to admit that I spend more time on my laptop than I do anything else and this includes sleep. I sign off my work laptop just to sign into my personal laptop just to do more work. It's a never ending cycle. So far I've somehow escaped the need glasses, but I did manage to get a hint of carpal tunnel and I'm quite certain it's from my hand positions when typing. Carpal tunnel is actually very easy to get if you aren't maintaining your hand position while typing. Too much pressure on your wrist repeatedly can cause the severe swelling which leads to the discomfort of the carpal tunnel and the symptoms associated with this such as tingling thumbs, middle fingers, and/or forefingers. This was once avoid by using the proper desk attachment for your desk, but gone are the days when you sit at a desk much less use a keyboard. Being mobile has its perks, but keeping your wrist safe will help you in the long run. I found that by using this stand I'm able to get increased airflow to my laptop which allows it to function better over time. I'm able to position my hands correctly, which allows me to increase productivity throughout the day. I'm able to use this stand in bed, at my sitting desk and at the standing desk. It's lightweight, steel construction built to last. It's not fold-able or flexible. I'd recommend storing this away from the laptop during travel to prevent damage to the frame. I thoroughly enjoy this stand. This is an excellent gift for anyone that owns a laptop. A sample was provided in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Awesome product !! Didn't realize how much having the laptop angled the right way not only makes me change the position of my hands to a better position but also not looking down the whole time at the screen with it being raised to more of an eye level, when using it, definitely made a huge difference. Will definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.
