Straight to the point...it worked.

I was a little apprehensive to get the product at first since it was a lot lower in its price than most, but it did exactly what it said it would. My old battery ran dry to the point that I could only use my laptop if it was plugged in. With the new battery I can use my laptop unplugged for over 3 hours. I did a little research on how to make the battery life last longer and used the suggestions. I made sure to charge the battery completely full, and then used the battery unplugged till the point that it died on me. Then I charged it fully all the way, and let it die all the way, again. This has worked extremely well since I notice the battery life last a lot longer than suggested. Anyways, enough with the mumbo-jumbo....just get it. It works point blank.

Ran 3 fully charge and fully discharge cycles down to Windows 7% default auto shutdown. It holds a charge, unplugged for days and runs about 2 hours unplugged. This is great for a 6 cell.

Therefore, I cannot comment on how the product actually works. It did fit the laptop securely so I feel it will work when the time it needed. I received it quickly and packaged securely. Would order from them again. We decided to keep this as a back-up. We're sure as soon as we returned it his battery would fail.

My HP Pavilion Compaq 6830s has long had a dead battery, so when I needed to buy a new AC adapter I thought, why not, I'll pick up a battery too. Overall, the battery works fine. It fits, it holds charge, it came shipped in an anti-static bag. All good. I'd give it 5 stars if it had a longer charge life. 2 and a half hours is alright for what I use it for, but other people might need a better battery.
