It works well and it's not too bulky. My Dell XPS 15.6 inch fits perfectly. It has speed 4 speed settings and 3 cooling modes. You can turn on just the two center fans, the four outer, or all fans. You adjust it via a digital control panel at the front. Mine didn't include the USB cable. The USB cable is a male to male, not sure why they make it this way instead of a regular USB. It's quiet and seems to keep my laptop cooler. The only con is those annoying blue LED lights that most of these come with. In my opinion, the LEDs make it look like a toy I'm sure it will drain the laptop battery faster. The LEDs can't be dissabled. Overall is a good product, a little flimsy at the adjustable stand, but acceptable.

Very quiet, lots of customizability, but very light-weight build quality

This is one of the quietest laptop coolers I’ve come across. It truly is whisper quiet even when all the fans are going on high speed. Excellent when it comes to sound level.

It is also excellent with regard to size. It offers an ample size work surface (roughly 15 inches wide by 10 inches deep) and has a flip up ledge to hold the laptop in place. The top of the pad is a metal mesh that is pretty sturdy. That’s an important feature not only for the look and feel, but also that the perforated metal will greatly speed heat dispersion.

You can control the number of fans and the speed of the fans. There are three settings for fan selection (inner two only; outer four only; or all six) and four settings for fan speed. Lots of choices for customizing the output.

The fans are powered by the laptop’s USB port. You can also power the fans by using a powerbank or anything else that has a USB power output.

The bad news is the build quality. The frame and prop stand are very lightweight plastic. This will not stand up to any measure of rough handling. When I was first using it I accidentally bumped it when moving my laptop. It wasn’t a horribly bad bump, but it caused one of the fans to pop out of its holder. I was able to seat it back in after taking the frame apart, but this is not the stand to get if you’re even somewhat rough on your gear.

The other annoyance was the bright red indicator that shows the fan setting and speed. Even when the fans are off, it has a bright red line through it. Very annoying – had to resort to some tape to cover it up since the red was so bright. It would have been much better if it had a more subtle indicator (perhaps some type of small pinpoint LED) or the ability to turn the display off.Read more ›

Really quiet laptop cooling fan that looks nice and keeps your machine cool and has a nice tilt feature

If you use your laptop on a desk, this is a good device for pulling the hot air out of it and tilting it up at the same time. It is made out of very thin, lightweight metal and plastic, and provides good coverage of the button of your laptop. It is powered off your computer's USB port, and includes a second USB port, so you can still have the same number of devices attached to your machine.

You can also use this on your lap, instead of a desk, but only in the flat position.

Works great cools my laptop down by around 30 degrees. Love the double male USB power system. If a cord gets kinked or broken it is cheap and easy to replace. There are two ports so if one does give out due to time it is not a big deal.

Okay product. Fan Controls and lights are well designed. Stand is convenient and flip out to hold laptop is great. Feels a little light/weak, but I don't see any weak points in the design really. My package also did not contain the USB wire, so I recommend purchasing a cheap a male to a male USB on here as well. The shorter the better, you only need about a foot.

I've found that the fans are a little underpowered, not quite getting the results I was hoping for, but I may just be a bit too demanding on my hardware. Fans are very quiet. Almost no noticeable sound when on full with all six running. Probably the goal of the lowered RPMs, but gosh did it work. Not bad, would be 4 of 5 or maybe 5, but they didn't include everything promised in the item description.

I have an MSI gaming computer, which tends to get very hot when I'm playing high resolution games. I bought this fan to help combat this problem. All in all this is a wonderful fan. Multiple settings, very quiet, good looking lights (not too bright), and adjustable angle, all make this a great purchase. Only complaint is the limited USB slots. But I suppose having only 2 USB slots is better than 1 or none!
