PROS---
-Light, Portable, and small.
-Strong, flexible design works great
-Light is very bright
-Works pretty much with any USB output

CONS---
-Light seems scattered, not directed towards keyboard
-Light could be a little bit longer in length

Conclusion: Although not the best solution for a light, it works well enough. The scattering of the light causes the screen to have a lot of glare and your face to be lit like a torch. For the price, I would still recommend this product.

Fine for the price.

It's not bad. I don't expect much given the price -- next time I will spring for one with an on/off switch. If it lasts me three months or longer I'll be happy with it. But there's one design bit that bugs me: great if the USB port on your keyboard is on the vertical. If your USB port is on the horizontal, it wants to twist away from the keyboard. Ah well.

Does not work as well as you think it should.

Does not work as well as you think it should. Think about it. The light shines down on your hands. Your hands cast a shadow on the keyboard. Back to the same problem of not being able to see the keyboard. Want to return it? It will cost you 5.99 + 1.20. I would look for something else.

I'm not sure what this would be useful to illuminate

Well, this really does not work for what I bought it for, lighting up the keyboard of my laptop at night. I've given it 2 stars because it lights up and is bright and was delivered quickly. The problems are...
1) Way way too blindingly bright for the purpose. I ended up putting foil over it to try to reduce the brightness
2) Much too short. It is on a tiny stalk. When you put your hands on the keyboard, the shadows cover the keyboard and you can't see the keys.
I'm not sure what this would be useful to illuminate, but not a laptop keyboard. I'm going to put it in my car and see if I can use it there.
That's just me, trying to light up a laptop keyboard as shown in the image with the item, Maybe there is some purpose for this I just have not discovered yet.
