Good size for traveling, sturdy

I purchased this case about a year ago. It was a touch smaller than most of the other rolling cases, and that has been important because it will fit under most (not all) airplane seats. The larger laptop cases won't do that, which was why I was still using a shoulder-carry laptop case up to that point. Now I wouldn't go back. I use it daily for both office and travel. This Wenger has proven to be sturdy - especially the handle assembly. It fits a 17" laptop easily. My wife finally got tired of her larger rolling laptop case and just appropriated my Wenger, so I'm getting another one for myself.

2+ Year update: Both of these Wengers are holding up well with daily use and frequent air travel. Fits overhead in regional jets (CRJ, Embraer) as well (but don't overstuff the bag). Definitely a quality product!

Finally found the perfect case!

I am the kind of person who is always looking for the perfect bag. I haven't found the perfect case that meets all of my needs - until now! This bag is the perfect size for a laptop, cords, mouse, files, books, and all of my personal accessories that I would normally carry in a purse. I do not like the look of the bags that, when they aren't full, look collapsed (I think it is a sloppy look). This bag holds it's shape whether it is empty or full. It is classy for a man or a woman. The zippers and the denier nylon are very high quality. The telescoping handle comes out high for tall people. The wheels roll very smoothly. The handle zips into the case very neatly. It does not have a shoulder strap or the capacity to use a shoulder strap, FYI, in case you want to carry it on your shoulder you woudn't be able to do so. If you haven't tried a wheeled case before, you may like it, it makes life a lot easier! I do not normally take the time to write reviews, but this bag had impressed me so much. I thought it would be worth my time to let others know how it has helped me immensely by keeping everything in one bag, and looks classy as well. All for around $75.00, you cannot go wrong for the value!

I love this product, and seller!

First I got the product on time and the packing/delivery condition was perfect!

The product itself is awesome too! I use it for college, to lug all my books and stuff around, and it fits

(4) 1-1/2 inch binders
My 16.5 Inch laptop
(2) text books

and other smaller things (spirals, clipboard, chargers etc.). This rolling case is perfect for the back to school student who wants to save their back, and for travel. I would HIGHLY recommend this product and this AWESOME seller for being so prompt!

Best rolling computer bag

I bought this same bag five years ago. One feature I particularly appreciate is its size: it holds alot but it will fit under an airplane seat or in the overhead compartment of the smaller "regional jets" unlike many other bags. I never have to "gate check" the bag or wait for it to be brought up to the jetway of the regional jets. It is very well constructed and designed with different compartments for differnt functions. It provides excellent protection for my laptop and for my iPad.

After many years of use it finally came time to replace the bag. I travel to upstate New York frequently and the salt they use on sidewalks and parking lots had finally done in the wheel bearing. I could have continued to oil them but after all those years they weren't as smooth or quiet as they should have been. I checked out the local big box office and electronics stores but none of the carried this particular model and the similar ones were too large and much more expensive.

I ordered this one on Amazon at a great price. It shipped very fast. I am completely delighted by the transaction.

Researched rolling totes by TravelPro, other brands, and Wenger and selected this model for my rolling desk. I am a consultant and need the functionality of this type of accessory for carrying 2 laptops, cables, other electronic stuff for my Blackberry and IPod, and file folders. For the money, this case has all features that I need. Construction is sturdy, quality materials and compartments are easily accessable. As with all rolling totes - wheels and the handle are prone to damage so will report later on how they hold up after use and minor abuse.

Did not want use a back pack because of limited capacity for all the stuff I carry and trying to save my back and shoulder from carrying excessive weight.

Laptop Storage - Questionable

These really are great bags ... Unfortunately, when I saw this bag, and checked out where the laptop goes, there is no padding for the base of the laptop. They should have included a layer of padding, like they do with the carrying version of this bag. So ... I think the pull bars resting right under the laptop over time, is going to create "wear and tear" marks .... Unless I'm missing something.... I agree with another poster .... Not easy to put in and remove the laptop ... You literally have to strap it in. But, I'll make do with it... It is a nice bag.
