My old battery charges to 100% and gives a blue light. This one only gets to 89% and continues to show a red light and "charging" on the laptop display. It seems to drain fast, so it's not really acting like the original equipment did last year when the laptop was bought. Disappointed.

It's not charging right

I bought this because my original battery stopped holding a charge and this one doesn't either. Right now my laptop battery is depleted so I have it plugged in which is keeping me going but it's not charging my battery any. It tells me now, plugged in not charging. Tried different things, plug in while laptop is still on, plug in after shut down, take battery out then in, wiggle the plug, change position of plug in. I don't know. I'll probably have to return it.

Updated review on 3-1-13-DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. JUNK, never charges to anywhere near 65% and its only 3 months old. Biggest waste of money ever. Original review on 12-21-12-Will not completely charge all the way.Seems to still last awhile, but only charges to mid 90% on the battery meter.
