Update, April 24, 2014:
After a little over 60 days, this piece of crap is now completely useless. After fully charging, it will power the machine for less than 10 minutes, when it reports about 70% charge remaining. At that point the machine suddenly shuts down, as the battery is evidently no longer providing sufficient power. Do NOT buy this. I have lowered my rating to one star, and would give negative one stars if I could.

What I posted on Feb. 15, 2014:
As advertised it is compatible with my laptop, however after four complete charge cycles I am only getting about 65-70 minutes of run time from full charge down to 8%. This is with medium screen brightness and consistent, but light use, e.g. web browsing. I do not believe that the stated capacity of this battery is correct, given that the original Toshiba battery in good condition will give over two hours on this machine.

I placed in the computer to charge and turned on the next morning and after I log in the computer shut down started again an same thing happened and just keep shutting removed the battery and computer stayed on and worked on with just power cord. installed old battery and everything worked OK. Installed new battery and started again and computer shut down as soon as I logged in even with the power cord attached removed battery and computer worked OK with it. I would like to know what could be wrong with this new battery?

Laptop battery

The battery works very well in that when it is fully charged it will power my usage for most of a day. The only discomfort is that it takes overnight to recharge completely. That has not been an issue as of yet, but I can envision where it might be, if I were traveling, for instance.
