Great Bag

I abuse my bags quite a bit and go through a new bag once a year. By time I wear my bag out I've listed all the things I don't like about it and look for a different kind. With this bag I didn't change. This purchase is my second bag of this model. My first one was one of the most sturdiest I've had. It lasted two years for me. When one of the zippers finally stopped working I decided to get a new one. I didn't hesitate in getting the same bag again. I carry a ton of things with me in my bag so I know you can pack a ton of stuff in this bag. I keep a 15" MBP in it but my son has a gigantic Asus 17" gaming laptop and it fits in the bag nicely. There are numerous pockets and compartments. I like the special compartment especially for my iPad. The water bottle holder is a major plus too for me as I take a water bottle with me everywhere. I used it so much that its zipper was the one that finally went out. I could no longer hide the mesh bottle holder in its pocket when I was not using it.

if you are looking for a roomy bag with plenty of pockets yet very comfortable to lug around then this is a great choice.

This is a very sturdy and functional bag.

I bought it several years ago and it still works well. It has been at least 5 years and I still use it. The only issue is that after a while (a long while) the zippers loosened and wont say closed (safety pins handled that).

Heavy duty

This bag is unique. The bag can handle a good 17" laptop and books to boot while in tow around the college campus. very durable and hasnt been a nuisance. I approve big time!

It accommodates an Asus G74SX.

It accommodates my Asus G74SX and protects it fine, but it is cramped. I wish it had more storage compartments for my gadgets and other tech toys I like to have on hand. It's well made and the stitching is holding up very well. The zippers are strong and I have seen no problems from them coming apart. The shoulder strap is padded and makes carrying easier. It can be carried in a single hand, thanks to the top mounted carry handle.

Poor design, basically

The cheap plastic 'loop' through which the carry strap threads has a tendency to rotate 90 degrees. The effect is to force the carry strap through a narrow aperture instead off a wide one, resulting in the strap being permanently 'compressed' and thus creased. Poor design, basically ...and the strap looks years old just two weeks in. I assume it is made off durable material, but it doesn't *look* as if it will last long. My Toshiba P870 fits well enough, and it does the job, but not as well as I'd like ...nor as well as I'd hoped. It seems a bit cheap and plasticky, anyway, and it's not very comfortable. No better than my old el cheapo messenger bag I'd used for more than 7 years, at least. I wouldn't buy it again.

Great, light, easy to carry case/bag for new 17" Lenovo

Great carrying case for a new 17" Lenovo that my work supplied to me. It comes with a removable zipper pouch that completely encloses your laptop. Very good amount of padding. The inside zipper compartment is lined with soft cloth and perfect to put a Surface, Kindle, or iPad in.
