I bought a new 15.6" HP Envy and wanted to get a laptop case to carry it around at school. This case definitely serves its purpose! I've had it for almost a month and I have no complaints. Laptop fits snugly along with its recharger and mouse, and at one point I've had to fit my fat wallet (from all the giftcards haha), phone, iPod, Samsung S3, earphones, lip balm, car keys, house keys, and a 3-subject notebook. IT ALL FIT, yes. It's narrower than I originally thought so the more things you put inside the more bulky the bag looks, but it doesn't look ugly. In fact, this case is handsome! It does its job AND looks good. The bag is composed of:
* one big compartment for the laptop itself
* a pouch inside to hold papers/rechargers/mice
* two discreet outer pockets on the Targus logo side - a smaller one for keys/notes/money I guess and a bigger one for whatever else
* big pouch on the other side.
* a removable padded strap. The handles work well as I always use them and rarely the strap, and they hold up well.

I bought it for $28 I believe. Great buy:)

Great lightweight, slim laptop bag

I wanted a small, easy to carry shoulder bag for taking my 16" laptop to and from work everyday, and back and forth to meetings and this does the job well. There is just enough extra room for a folder or notebook, and external pockets for a mouse, keys, wallet, phone etc. It is very lightly padded so not much protection if it is dropped or smacked into something but I was tired of dragging around the industrial strength bag with 4" of padding and weighing as much as the laptop.

Great quality, very slim. If I have any complaint, it is only that the fit is so snug that my Dell Latitude E6540 consumes all the volume of the bag. No room for a mouse, or even more than a thin document. That said, it does the job, and does it well.

This is a nice case. However, it is a bit narrow so if you have a 16 inch laptop that is a bit wider due to the screen, pass on this one. My Asus didn't fit. A mac would though. The material is quite handsome and it was a shame that this didn't fit.

Great while it lasted. This bag looked great, carried just what I needed, and was convenient to use. It lasted only 4 months of normal use, carrying just a laptop everyday, before the strap started to rip making the bag unusable.

Perfect bag for those looking for lightweight carrying

I chose 4 stars for this because it was exactly as advertised and exactly what I was looking for. It is lightweight, fit my 15.6' laptop perfectly and is made very well. If you're looking for padded protection, this bag is not for you. It does offer light protection, but it's mostly lightweight for ease of carrying. There is room for the charger, although it takes away a little from the slim line look. The pockets on the outside are really useless for anything but light paperwork unless you don't mind bulking up the bag. Once you put the laptop in, those outside pockets are really tight. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of how tight the outside pockets are and how you can't really fit anything in there, although that's not a problem for me as I had no intention of putting anything in there anyway. It's a top quality made bag, and perfect for travel. I would definitely recommend it.

Happy with the purchase. It's really slick and small, which is good. Fits my MacBook pro 13" and then some. I agree with others, there isn't much padding in there. I am keeping my laptop in the sleeve I had for it.
There isn't much room for a lot of things in the bag, but hey, that's why it is a city slick one. I am happy with the size, the weight and all. It's exactly what I was looking for.
