Laptop cooler

My MAC has been getting warm lately probably because I use it a lot. When I saw this cooler online I wanted try this! I am so glad I did, I am using it right now. 1st of all the stand has two height levels, flat or you can use the elevated legs (I call them). My laptop does not slide either, I have rubber grips on the bottom of my laptop and the cooler has edges, so everything is secure. There is a USB cable that plugs in from your computer to the cooler and the power on button is in the back. There are no extra cords to plug in the wall, I love this because I like to sit in various places with my laptop and I hate dragging all the cords with me. The whole cooler is slim, portable and very light weight. There are three illuminated blue fans blowing but they are so quiet you can barely even hear them. I have attached pictures so you can get a better view of the cooler and how it looks.
This is really a great product and I give it 10 stars!!!!! This is a perfect gift for anyone that has a laptop for sure! Don't forget about the college students!!!!

Quiet cooling pad, good air circulation

This cooling pad has three fans which are controlled with a on/off switch. There is no variable control for the speed fan, but I typically just set them on high and forget it, so I don't miss not having it. The fans (after 2 weeks of operation so far) are very quiet. I recorded the cooling pad operation in attached video so you can see how it sounds while it does its work.

It is best when computer CPU core temperature is under 50°C, if it is in the range of 50°C it is a sign of not sufficient cooling, if it is the in 60°C or higher it shortens the life expectancy of the computer components.

The cooling pad should be blowing towards the device you are trying to cool. How well it cools depends not only on the cooling pad but on how many ventilation holes each device has on the bottom.

In addition ventilation holes on the computer tend to fill up with dust. If you are not getting good results with a cooling pad try vacuuming the ventilation holes.

I have a little netbook which servers as my backup hub, its core temperature is 65°C without a cooling pad. I was able to get it down to 61°C with this cooling pad. This is still a bit hot, I am probably pushing the little netbook beyond its design by using it for doing disk operations for backups.

Good Cooler

At times, my laptop can run fairly hot. I've been looking for a cooling stand like this for quite a long time but have never found one I was satisfied with. So many of them have only one fan regardless of the size of a laptop you are trying this stand is nice because of three fans it has, offering a good amount of circulation for my 15 inch laptop.

While the pad is powered by USB, it has a pass-through port so you do not lose a connection. It also has an on and off switch which is nice for when you don't need it constantly running. The pad does add thickness to your laptop set up, but it is not so much as to be a problem. The pad also has height adjustment on the back you can angle your laptop with it being on top of the fans.

The material that the fan is made of is attractive, and I especially like the black mesh on top. Overall this is a great addition to my laptop desk which should help extend the life of my laptop. I did receive a discount on this item in exchange for my review.

Works so quietly!

This laptop cooling pad by Tenswall is designed to work with 15" - 17" laptops, so I tried it on my 17" Lenovo Thinkpad. I absolutely love the way it looks, but beyond that I really love how well it functions and how quietly it operates.

First of all it has a slim profile when the adjustable legs are flush and it's lightweight, so it's easy for me to use it wherever I need to including taking it along to work in my laptop bag. It's USB powered and connects to my laptop via a USB cable which was included, and it has an additional USB port so I don't lose a port when using it.

The top is a durable feeling metal mesh, and it has indentations in it that grip my laptop and help to hold it in position even when I have the adjustable cooling pad legs opened up to tilt the laptop. It has three blue LED fans that definitely move a good amount of air up through the mesh and to the underside of my laptop. My laptop had been running noticeably hot before using this cooling pad, but now it's staying cool even after hours and hours of heavy use. And the fans really are so quiet that I don't notice them at all. I would almost forget that I had the cooling pad on except it makes it easier to sit with the laptop on it on my lap, the laptop feels cooler with it running, and I can see just a bit of the cool blue light from the fans around the edge of my laptop.

I made a brief video so you could see it in operation for yourself, and hopefully (try to) hear it when running so you can see what I mean about how quiet it is. Hopefully that will help you decide whether this is the right laptop cooling pad for you or not. I think it's terrific personally.
