I received my ThinkPad E450 yesterday, but I thought that I would give a quick review since there aren't any reviews. I also thought that I would give the review because I was a slightly leery of buying a computer online that had to be opened to be upgraded and then packaged and shipped. FYI, I went to the Lenovo site and it appears that they only ship this computer with an i3 processor, so it seems like this is a great route for getting a powerful computer without breaking the bank.

I have to say that I am very impressed with Upgrade King and my new computer. It came with everything promised, and looked perfectly new ---- not a smudge on it. With this Core i7 processor, SSD hardrive, and Ram the computer starts quickly and operates perfectly so far. I like the feel of the keyboard. The 1920 X 1080 screen looks good.

I haven't used it enough to give an opinion about battery life, but I suspect it may not be super long. I need to get used to the two finger scroll....it seems that scrolling is a little slow, but it may be that I just need to get used to it.

I ran Windows Experience and the numbers came out as follows:
Processor: 7.2
Ram 7.5
Graphics 6.7
Gaming Graphics 6.7
Primary Hard Disk 7.9

I think the numbers are pretty impressive. The low number is obviously graphics, but this isn't a gaming machine.

I am very pleased with this purchase.

Blue screen

With lightening fast loading, the silent and cool-running SSD hard drive, beautiful screen, Windows 7 Pro installed, and only limited bloatware that I easily uninstalled, this would have been a great laptop, but I experienced 2 blue screen crashes in the first 10 days I used it. It went back. I had absolutely no problems returning it. I also had a small issue with the laptop that would not bother everyone; the power cord connects to the middle of the right side edge. I use a wireless mouse and usually keep the laptop connected when at home and found the power cord was constantly in the way when using the mouse. This was not a deal breaker by any means, but I wanted to mention it for others who might use their laptops the same way.

Got exactly what I ordered and on time. This is a top notch laptop with I7, separate graphics card, SSD, great keyboard and screen. It is a little larger and heavier than the top of the line laptops, but, significantly cheaper. If you are not a road warrior, it is a good compromise.

Great value for money. Computer Upgrade King replaced the HDD with SDD and the machine just flies with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SDD.
