This was purchase to be a basic mobile work station and is performing as anticipated. I was very happy to be able to find something that was not windows 8. No issues to note. Battery life is as expected. Minimal time investment needed to remove pre-installed unnecessarysoftware/bloatware. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would encourage others to consider this product over other mass market devices.

Its frequently blue screens and the battery life is significantly worse than expected

I am very dissatisfied with this product. Its frequently blue screens and the battery life is significantly worse than expected. It worked okay for about a month and since then on a weekly basis, it will blue screen in the middle of use. Or the screen will just stop working entirely, and I will have to shut down and restart. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. At first I thought I had downloaded a virus, but after an extensive search I have found no trace of a virus or malware and thus have concluded it must be a hardware or a software issue. Do not buy.

I absolutely love this Lenovo E555 it is smooth and fast and when the other reviewers say that it comes with no bloatware they mean it. This one came with a 120 gigabyte SSD hard drive and 8 gigabytes of RAM, excellent machine.

Lemon Laptop??

Received the laptop within it's time framed. Very happy about that. The laptop looked wonderful, packed nicely. Loaded every thing I needed and started using it and within less then 1/2 hour of using the laptop froze with thousands of lines going through it. Logged off and logged back on. Started surfing the web again and it happened again so here I go log off and that was even hard to do. Try and log on again for the third time and gosh darn it happened and again. Called customer service at Amazon and he suggested I return the item they will refund me the money and I have to purchase it again. Hmmmm not sure if that's a good idea. The reason why we picked this Lenovo laptop was because of it's rating and the rating that the seller had. Maybe my laptop was a lemon, I don't know. But I for sure was not happy...
