I'm a pretty low-maintenance laptop user - I mostly use my laptop to check email and social media, read the news, listen to music, etc. This laptop does the job just fine, so I'm happy with it, especially for the price I paid. It's a bit slow sometimes (which is surprising considering the 6GB RAM), but nothing too terrible. The only problem I've found is that the mouse sticks sometimes - I move my finger around the touchpad but nothing happens. Overall, it's not a superstar, but it works well for what I need it for.

The Toshiba C55 works pretty fair, but I'm a little disappointed in the speed and there always seems to be a problem when I try to access my email.. It says there was a problem on there end, please refresh.I haven't had it really quite long enough to give it a thorough try.

good laptop for the money

I have had a printing problem where it continued to become off line. When I called tech support they asked me who I used for internet security. I told them that I had Norton 360. They told me that Norton was not compatible with Toshiba computers, that's why it came with a trial for mcaffee. Toshiba is a manufacturer and should manufacture their computers top be compatible with most of the top internet security providers. I don't like being told that I can't make my own choice of security providers.
