doubled the battery life of my laptop

This battery extends my laptops battery life to over 9 hours if I close the lid from time to time. It does this even though I have the laptop set to never sleep since the campus wireless network throws me off when it does. I have been using it for a couple of months so far and no complaints at all. The extended size just makes a nice keyboard prop for the laptop.

Excellent (and ideal) Replacement

I bought this to replace the battery that originally came with my Toshiba laptop. The original battery that never lasted more than 2 hours from the start and within 14 months would no longer hold much of a charge at all.

This battery is a dream! I can now use my laptop off & on throughout the day and never have to charge it or keep it plugged in. I charged it to 100% when I first got it, used it until it drained completely, charged to 100% again, and now only plug it in to charge when it tells me to and I am getting great battery life - THIS is what I was looking for in a battery.

Upon researching laptop battery replacements for my Toshiba Satellite I decided on purchasing a genuine Toshiba replacement instead of a generic battery. I purchased this battery for $115 and was very disappointed when I received a generic battery with absolutely no Toshiba markings on the battery iteslf, the instructions, or the box. These generic batteries currently sell for around $25. Very unethical business practice....this could fool a lot of people if they don't realize the actual battery they receive is not Toshiba. Don't waste your time or money. Note this not supplied by Amazon, but a Amazon "seller". On a positive note, Amazon refunded my money immediately and sent a prepaid return label.

This battery last up to 12 hours (of use time). Enough said. It fits my toshiba satellite L655 perfectly. i didn't know how big it was, it gave my laptop a tilt,(a good thing), which gives it more air and keeps it off my legs when i have it on my lap. Very good product.

Great Battery - My Laptop Has a New Life

I was very frustrated with my laptop because I was only getting about 2 hours of battery life out of the stock battery. I was about to spend a bunch of money on an Ultrabook because of their promised 8+ hours of battery life, but decided to first try a new battery and purchased this 12 cell from Toshiba.

What a difference this has made! My laptop is regularly operating for 8-9 hours of moderate use (word processing, internet surfing, with wireless on). I've fallen back in love my laptop because I can actually get some use out of it, and thank god I didn't go spend a thousand dollars on a new system.

This battery is genuine Toshiba, it's not a knock-off made by a cheap competitor. It's the real deal. And somehow Amazon is selling it for about $40 less than Toshiba Direct -- I don't know how they do it, but gotta love Amazon!

Does not fit certain models!

Be very careful to double check models. This battery does not fit the Toshiba Satellite A505 series. This battery is very similar to the older 12cell battery, but it is not the same.
