Gaiser Products don't work - Offer Free items to remove negative feedback

Defective Battery, twice. They initiated a refund but called to get me to remove negative feedback ( meaning, I just wrote the facts, it didn't work). Rather than offer to ship a working one, they initiated a refund. Once they saw my feedback, they offered another free battery and I was aked to remove the negative feedback. I did, but when I got the second bad battery, I now write this. Basically, they may be nice on the phone, but they can't deliver. Both laptop batteries did not work. I see how they maintain a 4.9 star ratings because they offer free items to change review. However, even the second battery failed. IN the meantime, I bought from another Vendor without problems. Doesn't work

The battery doesn't work. Battery operated for 2 charges, then, the battery doesn't charge anymore. I'm very disappointed with this product. And the time for returns is very short (1 month). Don't buy this product.

A battery that works, for a while

I've had trouble getting a replacement battey for my wife's laptop. This is the first one that actually worked. It was strong for about 3 months, but now has a limited run time. Dissapointed overall.

my old battery didn't last long any more so thought I'd get a new one, worked great for a week I was very happy, then all of a sudden it was taking no charge, placed back in my old battery and that was charging just didn't last long but it did charge so its definitely the new battery is crap.

Pooped out after a few weeks

I have had my Toshiba for almost 5 years. As is normal, my battery stopped holding as much of a charge, until my computer stopped recognizing it 6 months ago. I was loath to buy a new one for $150 from Toshiba, so I decided to give this one a try instead. When I got it, I put it into the computer, and for the first time in a year I was able to sit with my laptop unplugged for more than 5 seconds or less. That was pretty miraculous, and I thought I'd just saved over $100.
Then one day, I unplugged it, and my computer went blank because it didn't hold a charge anymore.
Looks like I'll have to get the real deal next time.
2 stars because it DID work well, but it didn't even last a month.

When I got the item it was exactly what was needed and the instructions with it was good. It ran for 3 or so hours till ran down. Next to recharge per the instructions and then when recharged this calibrates it. but after calibrating the battery 30 min later it had an internal power outage and my computer did not even recognize it was there. So I returned it and the staff were very helpful. But now I have to redo the obtaining of a battery as I really do need one. Was an almost success.

Good Customer Service

I found this battery on Amazon and purchased it for my Toshiba laptop as my current battery would not hold a charge. After attempting to charge the battery, it still would not charge so I made a return. I did encounter a problem with the return. When I went through the process of returning it as instructed on screen, it said that the seller would send me a return label. I received the label but it did not include return postage. After paying for postage and dropping it in the mail, I determined that paying for the postage to return it didn't make sense since I had received free shipping to receive it. I didn't pay to have it shipped to me, I couldn't use it, and then I had to pay to ship it back.

When I later spoke to the seller, they told me I should have called them, but unfortunately, I didn't think to do that as I was just following the on-screen instructions I was given to make the return. The seller was helpful in instructing me to contact Amazon about the postage, but at no time was I instructed to contact Amazon in the self-return process or was I given the option to return it in any other fashion than the way I did. Upon contacting Amazon, they immediately applied a postage credit to my existing credit so that ended up working out fine.

I did go ahead and request a replacement battery. That battery did not charge either so I ended up buying a new power cord. I'm still not able to charge the battery with either the original power cord or the new one nor either battery so I am not sure where the problem lies and cannot say whether or not the battery is good.

Although this has been a complicated process, it is probably an isolated incident.Read more ›
