Good overall performance to price ratio. 17.3 in screen is great for visual but only at 1600x 900 resolution. Color and contrast is average.

Nice laptop

Although I'm not that thrilled with windows 8 (updates don't always install and I don't like the organization of the apps), I do like the Toshiba Laptop and enjoy the larger screen. I also like that it is light weight but feel like I need to be careful with it because of that (could be more fragile with the thinner plastic). This is my third Toshiba Satellite and they have served me well. The 15" screen model seemed to have issues with the speakers not being powerful enough (had to use head phones a lot) but this one has very good sound. Great screen resolution and lots of features that are all working so far (only had it a month). Compared to other brands that my family has owned (Dell and Gate) this one is the best for the money. I trust Toshiba to be good quality and I will keep buying them.

A Fair product poor battery

It works ok and I can stream live and do most thing on it as well as watch DVD's!The sound is a little weaker than the rental I bought which is why I gave it four stars.Hmmmm 6 months later and the battery keeps failing!I may have to buy a new PC...denoted to 2 stars.

I think if it were a new computer it would be great. However

Some keys stick. Sometime when I "sleep" the computer, it won't come back on. I have to hold the off/on button to turn it off so I can turn it on again. I think if it were a new computer it would be great. However, I am disappointed.
