An excellent laptop with large screen and Windows 7 professional system installed.

What a fantastic large screen laptop with the latest Intel core i5-5200U processor! Much faster than my older i5-4210U HP envy and less power consumption thanks to their advanced technology. The primary reason why I purchase this model is it has Windows 7 Professional system installed on the hard drive yet with a separate WIN8 Pro disc in case I want to upgrade (or "downgrade" whatever) in future.

At the beginning I was concerned about the screen resolution (I preferred a Full HD 1080P), but after having owned for about a month, I have been completely satisfied with the crystal clear quality. I don't play high resolution games but only watch movies, edit photos so it has exceeded my expectations.

The large memory size and hard drive capacity ensure no issue with loading multiple programs and storing bulk files. If it could come with a backlit keyboard, it would be perfect considering all the specs it features. I am OK with the standard keyboard since I don't use it under dark environment.

A happy customer with this Toshiba C75 laptop would love to recommend to those who need it for school, home or business uses.

The computer so far is great! It's light, easy to set up, super fast, the screen quality is crystal clear and the keyboard is perfect for typing quickly. I had recently ordered one of the latest Dell laptops. I hate it and will return it asap! It's very slow and the mouse barely works. I'm very happy with my new Toshiba and highly recommend it!!!

I agree with he reviewer that said that the laptop is perfect....except for the sound. At first, I thought the speakers were defective. I tried adjusting the settings to improve the sound but to no avail. The 'stereo' speakers just sound crappy. My last two laptops were Toshiba and the sound on both was fantastic. This one gets a big fail for sound. Very disappointing. I am a music lover, and this laptop takes the joy out of listening to music. Even listening to the vocals on a video leaves you straining your ears. No exaggeration! Sounds like a cheap transistor radio. Three stars for this one.

A Machine for People That Like Machines

I bought a Toshiba because I have an ancient Toshiba laptop from 2001 that is still a favorite of mine. The old laptop has a personality. It is gun metal gray and has a wonderful sound setup for a laptop. The new machine is indicative of today's world. It is all function over personality or style. Sad really. It's industrial black. It has good specs. With the exception of the mouse pad and the sound quality of the unit, all is good. The mouse pad is a nuisance. But, I have a wireless mouse which works well with the laptop. As for the sound quality, even with headphones, the sound quality is below par. I've had the unit for a month. Usually with a machine like this I develop a bond. Not so with this laptop. It works. It works very well. But, for my purposes, I was looking for a machine for entertainment. That does not mean I am into heavy gaming. I just wanted a fun machine that's portable. With all the great specs they put into this machine, something they left out was the fun element. If you are running a business and need a laptop, this would be excellent. I am not using the machine for a business. I just want to have fun. My mistake. I bought the wrong laptop.
