Light Enough to Take With You, Sturdy Enough to Stand Up to Travel Too

I've had this computer for two days now and I have really been enjoying it.
It's an handsome and sturdy laptop housed in brushed aluminum. It just feels good. The touch pad doesn't have the glitchiness of my former Lenovo. This computer will turn into an oversized tablet as the screen will fold in half backwards with your keyboard. However, the screen is also slightly set back in the housing so that the keyboard is never in contact with it contaminating the screen with all the oil your fingers leave on the keys. Of course it is a touch screen and if you use that feature often you are going to have oil on your screen from time to time. But at least it won't be in the form of keys.
I'm not the most geeky of computer users. I really don't know what intel core i3 means. Mostly I don't much care either. What I like is that my computer works when I turn it on, and it does what I want it to do. I use it for writing, blogging, Power Point presentations, and surfing the web, probably more surfing the web than anything else. I watch occasional movies, but most often just a video that a friend posts to twitter or facebook. The screen has great clarity, and with 14 inches it has plenty of room for detail. I like the screen's size as I don't have the best of eyes.
I have not had the same problem as the previous reviewer. I have turned my computer off and on several times over the last couple days and it has come on. Though, it sometimes takes it a while to turn off given the inevitable updates that come with a new computer, it has always performed well. The computer, at least from Best Buy, comes with Windows 10 installed. Windows 10 is a little different, and new software can always be a little frustrating as you get used to how it works, but may as well take the plunge.Read more ›

Faulty AC adapter... Awesome Laptop

I would rate this product for 5 stars but the AC adapter for it was busted. Luckily I had an old Toshiba laptop charger that was compatible with this newer model saving me from shelling out more cash for a working one.

My recommendation... get this laptop it has the sleek design of a mac without any Mac OSX limitations.
P.s. Macs are just as good or better.

Problems w/ Windows 10?

I can't really comment on the computer because I barely used it. I will say that I bought this computer to use when back-pack travelling. It was sleek and light enough to fit into a backpack but I felt it was sturdy enough to last through some of my adventures.

What I will recommend is that you stick with Windows 8 and do not take the free upgrade to Windows 10- at least not for a while- let them fix all the glitches. I bought this computer on 8/18/15. Set up with easy and quick but Windows wouldn't start after a proper shut-down! I brought it back to the store on 8/19 where I exchanged for another Radius 14- and the same thing happened! Employee advise me that it was a Windows 10 issue and both of the computers I tried would be sent back to Toshiba for them to fix.
