Replacing a damaged monitor in a Toshiba Laptop. Replacement was easier than I anticipated. Getting the small screws back in the benzel around the monitor was a little tricky, but it all went back together and has been working great (my wife is VERY happy to not have the diagonal line thru her laptop monitor :-) )

Installed easily following a youtube tutorial and works perfectly, just like the original. My toddler winged a little potty into my laptop screen, and this was much cheaper than paying to have it replaced. Only required a small screwdriver to swap it out.

OEM replacement

The screen that came was identical to the C55A screen it replaced, same connector placement, plastic cover, everything. The image looks a little different. It also performs identically to the old screen before it got cracked.
