Excellent good quality battery

I bough this to replace the battery in a Toshiba Satellite c655-s5061 and it worked great. I thought that I would need to charge for 2-5 hours like any new rechargable battery for an electronic device and I didn't. It charged within 45 minutes and my laptop (which had been without a battery for a while) was up and running. It doesn't loose the charge when you unplug it and the computers off and you get good battery life (about 8 hours in Linux I don't know about windows) all in all I think that this battery is a good and inexpensive replacement was going to pay 27.99 for another battery that I saw and went with this instead and I don't regret it . Would definitely buy again.

P.S this sale was fulfilled through amazon and I did not buy directly from the seller ( if that makes a difference ) though I think that if I did my experience would have been similar.

Update 3/11/2015 - Although the battery arrived in a package where the seal was broken...it's working perfectly and holds a charge just fine, Highly recommended!

I only just received my battery a few minutes ago. It fits perfectly! I'm concerned though, as the battery package seal was broken when I received it, and the adhesive that was on the packaging looked old/worn/used and doesn't match the sticker that is on the packaging (the old adhesive is wider than the sticker on the package, and as I said before the seal was broken). I wonder if this is a return and not a new product for that reason. This is why I am giving it a 3 star review. It arrived with a 0% charge on it, so I will wait and update this review after a month or so to advise on how the battery charges and how long it holds a charge.
