Gets the job done, but be careful...

While the adapter does what I bought it for, it does have some issues. I've had it for about a month now. The plugs themselves are not able to handle much abuse even under normal use. They also can get lost easily, and there is no way to secure them to the cord short of a wad of duct tape, or a stiff workshop spring clamp. Secondly, it puts out a hell of a lot of EMI (ElectroMagnetic Interference), so much so that AM radios cannot be used while this brick is plugged in. Guess that's the catch for cheap, no-name brand equipment. I'm just glad it's just for an old Gateway laptop that's already gotten more than 7 years of service for me, and will be retiring from regular use as a carry-around computer to just sitting on a desk idling away as a home file server, along with it's broken-screened brother for the rest of it's days, until it finally kicks the bucket. This being the 90 watt model, I grabbed it so I could see how it does vs a dying battery of the laptop, not too shabby.

This was a very inexpensive, but very good charger. Shipping was quick, and I have no complaints. The charger itself also has multiple wattage settings as well as inputs, so it is highly adaptable to any type of laptop.

Laptop power

I bought this when the original (HP) appeared to have developed an intermittent failure. Since the battery is nearly dead, I was having frequent hibernations. This PS is now an emergency replacement in my collection of spare parts, since the original problem turned out to be a cold solder joint of the power jack on the motherboard. With the nine tips and the multiple voltages, I'm set to fix most anything except Dell laptops, whose plugs are huge and not one of the nine in the set.

Works On Everything Thus Far

I have had no issues with this adapter thus far. Have used it to power probably 10 different laptops since purchase. Will not power most Dell's, but neither will my more expensive Anker. This does not have voltage-in-tips like Anker so must be adjusted via simple switch to change voltage, but it's worked with everything I've thrown at it so far. Just ordered 2 more.

Unacceptable and unreliable business

Useless. Missing 2 tips, one of which should've been for my husband's HP laptop. Interesting thing is I purchased another of these universal AC adapters from another Chinese vendor in hopes that I'd receive all the tips as advertised, but they also shipped partial tips. Apparently, they are out of stock of those tips. Well then they should reflect that on their site. Not say they are in stock and ship incomplete products hoping that one of the partial tips fit your computer. This is unacceptable business practice!
