a definite rebuy when bag dies

By far the best work bag I've owned to date with a relatively inexpensive price tag. The bag has loads of pockets and heavy duty stitching. The shoulder strap is appropriately sized for the bag yet supremely comfortable. I carry a work laptop, (meaning, it's old and heavy) along with paperwork and crap in every pocket. Other bags I have owned the shoulder pad is completely oversized and doesn't stay where it should. Not this one. I really like this bag. I feel confident I will purchase another one when this one goes.

9 months later or more.... bag still kicking in a good way no disappointments. I have used this bag every day and my mate ordered one because of the abuse I put my bag through. I only wish there was black on black.

After dithering for an eon about a new bag - how many compartments, leather or fabric, etc - I decided on this one because I rarely use one nowadays anyway, and when I do I use it either to carry a laptop, or some papers, but rarely both, and certainly not a change of clothes, and it is the most stylish at this price point.. If and when I decide on something better, this will work fine for the laptop in a travel situation. It's padded all around tho not quite as well on bottom and edges as sides. A good-sized laptop fits in it as well as a legal pad and some papers, and there's room in front for pens, calculators and the like in the smaller gusset. HOWEVER, the small front pocket inexplicably doesn't cover over the zipper, and creates a valley that will surely collect rainfall. (Perhaps they didn't realize that in California.) And the strap doesn't detach, which is nice in view of those which detach all by themselves, yet is long enough that the only way to minimize it is to wrap it around the bottom, not the top, as shown in one of the pics, but if you do that you'll likely have the integral shoulder pad scraping the floor. I don't know about the orange interior, but it does make it easier to see things than black.

Light with enough room for charger and other stuff

I have been looking for a lightweight laptop bag for my Dell Latitude (18 inch diagonal) laptop and I have finally found it. I like how easily I can remove the laptop for airport security checking. There is also a front zipper pocket with nylon slots roomy enough for my dell charger, mouse, and other stuff. And there is a built-in strap on the back you can slide onto your rolling luggage handle so it will not fall off. What would make this bag better is if it had rubber footers at the bottom of the bag so it won't slide when I lean the bag down. But it is not a big deal.
