Great high quality bag for only $60

I have to say I love this little bag. I was looking for something on the smaller side to fit my 14 inch laptop so I could have a smaller bag on the bus.

The most surprising thing is how much stuff I could fit in it! Before I planned to use it for work I flew with it and loaded it up with a bunch of random things: a HDD, a Wii U, a full gallon ziplock bag and some food. The magnetic latches closed very easily with all this in it and the best part was it didn't look any bulkier. I've had problems with Timbuk2 bags that with just a few things in it looked like I was carrying around santa's sack of toys.

For work I only carry around my laptop, laptop charger, notebook, gameboy, reading book and some pens. It has a pretty slim profile with these in it.

It came pretty much exactly as pictured. The canvas feels nice and thick, not sure if it'll be weather proof or not. All the major joints have leather and metal parts which looks like it'll add to the life of this bag. I've had plenty of backpacks where the stitching at the handle or strap would start to come off after a while. It's very nice to see then that for instance where the strap is attached it it's a leather piece bolted on with metal fastners as opposed to plastic ones. The bag is closed with 4 magnetic buttons: 2 under the flap and one on each of the two straps. The buttons just about automatically attach themselves on when you flip the flap closed which is very nice since I get that leather strap look but the convenience of magnets.

There are 2 main compartments for the bag under the flap. These compartments are separated by a zipped portion. One of the compartments has open sleeves for pens and things. The other comparement has a small zipped pouch where I store my mouse.Read more ›

15" MAC BOOK PRO OWNERS!!! This bag is MORE beautiful than the picture, the leather looks and SMELLS great, I love this bag! BUT, my 15" Mac Book Pro DOES NOT FIT in the bag while in my neoprene sleeve. HOWEVER, the laptop DOES fit without the sleeve but the bag has no padding! If you have a very snug, slim cover for your 15" Mac, this bag may be worth a shot. 13" Mac owners, this bag is friggin' awesome!

I really love my Vintage Canvas leather bag. It looks exactly as I expected it to look when I got it and it holds everything I need, my 15" Macbook Pro, wacom tablet, and portable hard drives. I do wish it had a little more padding for my electronics, but it definitely maintains a sophisticated look at least. Awesome looking bag for the price!

Pros: Overall, great bag. I have a 14" laptop that I take with me to my classes, along with its charger, a thick notebook and a few text books. This bag is beautiful! For the price, you really can't go wrong. Love it!
Cons: With everything I carry, often, I can't zip up the inside zipper under the flap. Also, I'd like to see a little padding on the shoulder strap. I carry a lot of things, and it gets heavy at times.
(but again, for the price, this is a fantastic bargain!)
