PROS:
* Lightweight aluminum frame (see Cons)
* Ventilation holes to help circulate air beneath the laptop
* Wide base allows for larger laptops (see Neutrals and Cons)
* Supports a decent amount of weight (see Neutrals)
* Versatile leg positioning which allows some interesting configurations (even allowing use, to some degree, on uneven surfaces)

NEUTRALS:
* Although there's an area lacking vent holes off to the right side which lets you use a mouse, it would have been a plus if that area were separately adjustable to lay flat because the mouse tends to slide down when not in use
* No clear instructions, but luckily it's not too difficult to figure out (hint: press in the joint locks while adjusting the legs)
* Although this seems like a solid unit and can easily support my 10.1"/4lb and 14"/6lb laptops, I have reservations about using it with my 17"/10lb laptop because the stand feels like it wants to give out at any moment beneath it

CONS:
* Too short in chair/sofa mode (it's only 22" tall) -- Unless you're a member of the Lollipop Guild who purchases chairs/sofas from the land of Lilliput, there's no way to comfortably use this while sitting in a chair/sofa
* Wobbles from side to side (although it's aluminum, the pieces that hold the joints together are plastic) -- Not a big deal if you're using this on a supported surface, like a table, but could pose problems while using in bed if you shift around a bit
* While the base is large, there's not enough room to comfortably move a mouse around if you're using a laptop larger than a 10.1" netbook

Overall, I had high hopes for this laptop stand when I was offered a chance to try it in exchange for a review.

This little table fits a 15 inch laptop nicely an has great adjust-ability, but everything wobbles.

The tray top bends underweight and will actually bounce. The legs have no side bracing, allowing it to rock from side to side.

So while it's very lightweight, making it easy to maneuver and the legs can be adjusted nicely, I am annoyed by its lack of stability. Annoyed being the key word here, because this does work, but I'm not happy with it.

I have often been relegated to working from bed due to injury, and then having surgery on both of my legs, and I had hoped that this would be a great device for that next seemingly inevitable period, but it's not. I would also hesitate to put a plate of food onto it, fearing that it might slide off.

My opinion is that a more sturdy, four legged model or a floor model would be preferable to this particular stand. Unless I adjust it to rest on top of my legs, which kind of defeats the point of purchase, this doesn't suit me and my laptop.

Most recently I've used a floor model laptop stand with a 27 inch monitor on it and a wireless keyboard and mouse, this works also.

I think that there are better options available and can only recommend this if you want the lightweight and don't mind the wobble.

This is a little expensive for the sturdiness of it. But, then again it might suit some individuals fine. It does not get very high... about 19.5 inches from it's fully extended setup (measuring from floor to bottom of table. It does have some neat options and might be perfect for getting something just right for in bed. The amount of options you can configure is probably over a dozen. Sitting in an office chair, it has one configuration that allows me to bend over to it just slightly and use a laptop on.
Cons: not a lot of room for a mouse to go on the side, unless you have a 13.3" laptop on it; must use discretion to not to set it up to where a laptop falls over

I'm typing on this table now - I have it set up in bed - and I really like it. This is the first and only table of this type I've tried and I wasn't sure what to expect. I have a heavy 15.4 inch Sony Vaio laptop on it, the laptop is sitting on top of a fan unit, and I'm using a Logitech mouse by my side, away from this table. I could use the mouse on the table if I wanted to, as there is sufficient space (there's a small un-vented area on the right of the tray, as you can see in the photo), but I prefer to have my arms spread out a bit when mousing.

When typing on the Vaio on this desk, I do not get any significant side to side movement or any other movement other than a bit of vibration and slight movement that I think one should take for granted given the type of table this is.

I'm 6' tall, just over 200 lbs., and the table fits over my lap with plenty of room to spare. I had to consult pictures on the box in which the table comes in order to figure out how to set it up for use in bed, and setup was very easy. Once I got the table into a well-balanced position, it, with the laptop on it, feels as stable as can be. After setting the table up into a well-balanced position and putting the laptop on it, I rocked the laptop and table forward and backward pretty forcefully, and there's no way it would tip over unless I went Jack Bauer on it.

There are six legs and six penny-size silver buttons (actually, a hair larger than a penny and a hair smaller than a nickel) that you depress to adjust each leg. Each button has an arrow on it and around each button are numbered angle markings to enable you to get each pair of legs accurately aligned.
