For the price I'm happy with it. Feels well made out of the box. Runs fast. Cons- this is not a laptop easily upgradeable., ie., no handy panels to take off for hd or ram, u need to almost completely disassemble the unit, remove keyboard, take out mb.

I ordered this computer for school with the intent of doing homework and gaming. It's owning up to both of those really well. Unfortunately, I seem to have received a faulty unit. There seems to be a loose connection between my graphics card and the screen, so that periodically my screen will go black and wont work until I press on the case by the power button. The screen stays powered, but it doesn't receive any graphical input. Its a nuisance, but I can deal with it.

Overall, this is a pretty cost efficient computer and has a lot of power for it's price tag. If you want a computer that can both play games well yet stay versatile, this is the computer for you.

Just hope you get a model that works.

It is an average laptop priced on the high side. Things I didn't like about this laptop.
1. Distributer took too long to deliver the product.
2. Display not very good quality, limited angle of viewing, clarity, resolution, and brightness.
3. Unit has internal battery and not user replaceable and battery last only 1 hour.
4. It did not come with Windows 7.
5. Hard drive is only 5400RPM, too slow.
For the average user, Windows 8 and 10 is not user friendly when it comes to configure the laptop for power features and other configuration options but this holds true with any computer with Windows 8 and 10 installed.

Comes with worthless antivirus software and the free upgrade to windows 10, it boasted so much about playing well with, was buggy and vulnerable. Also, the battery drains in the off position and I un-replacable. After being off and in my luggage for two days, it worked its way to half battery. Otherwise works amazing.

So I purchased a new notebook a few days ago, Its a AMD APU based notebook with a mid-ranged dedicated video card. Looking at their website it seems like it is a extremely new model. I do feel like it was good deal, right now its $650.

But, I do have some things that I feel like people might want to know. It could help someone find a notebook for them.

1. It feels REALLY nice in the hands. Its a tad bit heavy, but it is thin a lot thinner than I expected. It has a DVD drive, and when I purchased it I expected that the fact that there is even a DVD drive was going to make it too thick for me. It is a very thin unit. So thin, that they had to engineer a "clip" for the LAN port because it is thinner than a RJ-45 jack. All of that coupled with how NICE the brushed aluminum look is. It is right up there with premium $1000+ notebooks.

Overall, the physical look of the notebook is a plus.

2. The notebook comes with a fairly higher end APU that would compete with ANY processor in this price range. Performance is going to be at least acceptable. Doing all the things I have done thus far, which doesn't include any games, it seems very responsive and more than capable. One thing I am not happy about is that it comes with a platter based HDD, not a SSD. I feel like all computers from this day forth should always come with a SSD regardless of circumstance.

The performance of the notebook is a minus 1 because of the lack of SSD.

3. Support. This is the end all be all of notebook computers. What does the manufacture's support page look like? Pretty awful. It doesn't have critical drivers there for you to download.
