Fits a 15.6 laptop, barely

It's a nice bag for a light trip. Looks great, well made but if you carry around a lot of books 7 days a week I can see it wearing down easily. Not much padding going on inside or in the laptop pocket, that's why I'm giving it it 4 stars and not 5.

Love the size and look, hate the quality

I love the size and look of this bag; also, I feel like I'm not compelled to put my whole life into this bag--just the essentials for school like my laptop, notebook, wallet, and small pencil case.

The only thing I wish was better quality stitching in the bag; it came apart along the top lining. I'm conflicted bc I love the bag, but overall I wish it was more durable.

Stylish and functional, perfect for college students! (UPDATED)

EDIT: After about 2 months of use, I want to update the review to about a 4/5. For a couple of reasons:
- The straps are weak, they don't hold well, I use a different amount of books each day, and having to readjust it everyday is annoying for someone like me, I don't like it when my bag hangs by my butt. It's not a problem on my Jansport bag.
- After a heavy rainstorm, the bag has had this lingering smell to it, it's noticeable in a car, but not enough from a distance. I don't like it, it was enough for me to get a new bag that's for sure.
- The functionality remains the same, as I described below.

I will leave my initial reactions to it because I do like how it is, just some fixes here and there could have made me keep this bag. If you are living in a dry area, you probably won't have the problem with the smell, or if you like your bag completely hanging. The only reason that made me change my review was of my own personal annoyances, so if you notice "little" details like me, you won't like this bag.

I think I can safely give it a 5/5 because of how much I liked it and it came as expected, it's a stylish backpack, with enough functioning to work as an everyday backpack for College, which is what I wanted.

I am a light carrier (1" binders, folders, composition books) and I think it's a perfect fit for me, which is what I expected. The laptop sleeve is big enough to make my 15" Ultrabook feel safe, along with my books. There is an inside pocket in the big zipper where you can put your phone, pencils, wallet, and I really like that feature, simply because on my Jansport bag, the pencil zipper was on the outside of the bag, so as far as functionality goes, I'm extremely happy with it.Read more ›

Torn backpack with no vendor help

I absolutely loved the style of the backpack, but was very disappointed to see that within a day, the shoulder strap of the backpack already started tearing. I hadn't even used the backpack yet! I tried to contact the vendor, but they didn't respond. I may have been satisfied if the vendor worked with me (and would have even given a good review for a beautiful looking backpack), but this isn't the case.

I recently tried to carry a much bigger laptop on it and fit perfectly...! I am considering ordering a similar one for my sister...I would definitely recommend it...!

Great for a college student

I really wanted to give it 3 and a half but I guess I can't.
1. Customer service was AWESOME, any shopper can appreciate good customer service, I ordered two different bags and they handled by cancelation and refund very promptly

2. The color is off, it's not as light brown as it appears in the photos, I thought it would be on the same color lines as my light brown coach messenger but it's more of a dark brown near green but it definitely has that vintage feel and look.

3. Bought it primarily as a bag for college because it has the nifty laptop pouch that says it will hold a 14" pc.... Well I have a 15.6" pc and it fits perfectly fine in there so no worries

FIRST day of use, button already fell off.

This is one of my first times leaving a review. The magnetic button responsible for keeping the flap portion in the back closed, has magically fallen off on my FIRST day of use. Absolutely unacceptable.

Seriously. ONE DAY. That's all it took. I can't imagine if this bag has to go through a month. I will not change my review until I am reimbursed properly.
