Terrific product, great stocking stuffer, too!

No brainer installation, and so much better than my clunky old HP wireless. One battery, zero set up on my Win 8 running as Win 7; plug and go, and smooth as silk. Ordering another as a stocking stuffer; price terrific and quality excellent! I hate touch pad "mice" but a wired mouse compromises the portabilty of my laptop. The teeny usb connector that comes with this cordless optical is great idea. My prior HP mouse had a 2 inch usb which bent while plugged in; thankfully no damage, but such is the risk when using a "retro" wireless mouse. Upgrade, the price is low and I think you will be surprised at the ease of installation.

eSecure Wireless Optical Mouse

What distinguishes this wireless mouse from the pack is its assortment of useful features. The mouse is sculptured, which is infinitely more user-friendly than the smooth "soap bar" style of mouse because the depression for the thumb provides a better grip and more control. After hours of use, I also noticed less hand fatigue. Note that this design suits right-handed users but does not translate well for left-handed people.

The device only requires one AA battery (not included) which according to the manufacturer can last as long as 18 months because it automatically turns the power off when not in use. This is the polar opposite of the mouse I was using, an expensive name brand, which consumes at least one AA battery per month.

I tested the feature by leaving the mouse upside down on the table so the red laser that detects movement was plainly visible. After about 2 minutes it started blinking and then after another minute the device shut down. It also has an on-off switch to definitively ensure it is off if it will not be in use for an extended time period.

The mouse uses the 2.4 GHz wireless USB standard for communication rather than a proprietary radio frequency (RF), like all of the other ones I have used. The manufacturer says USB is more dependable and works even if the devices are 15 meters (over 49 feet) apart. Lately, I have experienced intermittent problems with my RF mouse - problems that have not occurred with this mouse.

The sending unit is very small and unobtrusive, barely visible when pushed into a USB port. And, it works fine when plugged into an attached hub, thus saving a high speed port on the computer for devices that must be plugged in directly.Read more ›

Great mice! ( for its price)

This mouse is smooth. And reaches its' requirements for its price. The only part that is not that great is that it needs a mouse pad for you to use it smoothly, without the mouse pad it tends to trip alot. But it works perfectly when there is a mouse pad on it. xD

Great mouse at a very affordable price!

As a blogger I am constantly using my desktop or my laptop, but I find my laptop was never user friendly enough to write product reviews with. Since I have gotten the eSecure Wireless 4G Nano Cordless Optical Mouse I find I am much more comfortable using my laptop for larger projects. This wireless mouse has a great ergonomic design making it perfect for people such as myself that use the computer often.

What are the features?

The USB receiver stores inside the cover when you aren't using the mouse, you will never lose it.
This mouse has been great for me, I find that it has very user friendly controls, and it's quick with no lag time like I've seen with my other wireless mouse. I appreciate the fact that you can press a little button labeled DPI on the top of this mouse and choose how fast you want the cursor to move. I'm a particularly fast paced person, so I love the fact that I can customize that to my own needs. This mouse also has a scroll wheel on the top as well that works perfectly for scrolling up and down websites, or you can press it down to switch to pan mode.
The eSecure Wireless 4G Nano Cordless Optical Mouse is a great quality mouse at a very affordable price. I recommend this to anyone, even bloggers such as myself. I received this product for evaluation, but these are my own opinions.

Love this mouse! Bought as a Christmas gift for my husband, didn't even make it to Christmas before he ripped open the box. This mouse works great, fits in his large hands nicely, doens't cause him cramping like other smaller ones. The wireless function is perfect. The USB plugs in and is small enough not to get in the way of charging cord. Batteries last a long time! He uses it for hours on end and still haven't replaced them.

Surprising quality for the price.

I am surprised by the quality of the mouse given the low price. It is easily comparable to most $20 wireless mouse. The two extra side buttons are a nice touch but they are not configurable. I am not sure if you can use a third party software to do so but by default they work as back and forward buttons on web browsers. I haven't tested the battery life but it can't be that bad. There is a power switch at the bottom to conserve battery when not in use. It takes one AA battery and there is a place to store the receiver under the mouse. Overall, I would recommend this mouse to anyone who is looking for a inexpensive but good quality mouse.
