Nice and quite.

This little cooler is very strong it is like a vacuum, the front of it sucks outs the air out of the laptop and back blows out all the hot air. When you get this device you get many different size silicone fittings to make sure you get a nice tight fit. I love that it has adjustable fan control on the top. It is very lightweight! This device is very quite for all that is does! This is good for people who use laptops a lot.

Now my laptop runs like new.

I was reluctant to open up my 2 years old Toshiba laptop to lower temperature by replacing the internal fan. What a hassle it will be. I literally use my laptop on my lap. And it burns. Underneath coolers are either impractical or hurt my lap. This works exactly as advertised. The soft plastic adapter was a little too long but worked perfectly after a quick trim.The unit is almost noiseless and lowers and maintains pleasant temperature without noticeable noise. Now my laptop runs like new.

It really works!

This is one of the best accessory I ever come across for cooling laptop.

One of my laptop is older model of Dell that I use it for media server. It's older model, but it serve the purpose well. Only issue I have with this laptop is it gets very hot when processor gets going at max capacity. (i.e. Uploading multiple videos/movies, while watching movies different movies. Also, extracting ISO, etc... (multiple task at the same time). When it happens, it's own fan is going at very high speed, but short time later, it shuts down. If laptop shuts down in the middle of uploading movies/videos or while extracting files, I have to start all over. It's huge waste of my time, not to mentioned it is so aggravating.

When I was asked to review this Laptop Cooling fan, I was very happy to test it on my laptop.

Today, I receive this iGearpro Portable Laptop Cooling Fan, I put it to the test right away. I upload 5-6 movies to this machine, while I was watching old TV shows that I had store in this server. As I upload multiple movies, I had to unzip some of files on same machine too. Just about 10 min after I start doing all these task, I heard my laptop fan was going at high speed. But, laptop did not shut down. Normally, after I heard my laptop's fan turn on high speed, it always shuts down after just few min. I was somewhat expected to shut down because it always did. Even though, cooling fan is attached to the laptop, I was skeptical if external cooling fan will really prevent my laptop from shutting down.
But, with iGearPro Portable Laptop Coolng Fan, machine did not shut down. I can't believe this really does the job of cooling laptop.

Works On My Gaming Devices Too

The iGearPro Portable Laptop Cooling USB Fan works great to keep my devices cool. The fan is internal to keep my children's little fingers safe and I love the sleek design combined with the blue LED lights. I received the fan along with 4 sizes of silica gel for configuration, a USB plug, clips in a variety of sizes and a detachable panel. I have included a product picture for reference.

The fan greatly reduces my laptop, Xbox and Playstation's temperature and since it uses built-in USB input, no other power source is needed. The fan is compact and lightweight, so it's easy to toss in my computer bag with my other accessories, or my purse when I'm going to a friend's house.

I enjoy that it's portable and does not need to be installed to function. It is easily controlled and works quickly. It uses a single button to turn the fan on, off and to adjust the speed. The different sized clips allow me to customize the fan for my variety of devices and installation is simple... I connect the clip that fits my desired device to the cooler before connecting it to the heat vent. I then connect the power cord and turn the button on the fan to turn it on, choose my desired speed an eventually cease operation.

I'm very pleased with the quality, function and ease of use the fan provides. It does run a little loud, but I'm usually listening with headphones, or have the volume up, so this is not an issue. I am still removing a star for the issue. Disclaimer: I received this product at no cost in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

This device is okay... loud ...

Ths is one of those things that is a great concept but the design could've been carried out, perhaps a bit differently in order for optimal use.

This is a portable cooler which on the surface is great. My Macbook is in need of a new fan and in the mean time I have to either use coolers or just shut down often as it heats up.
This eliminates the need for a laptop cooler in the traditional sense.

However it's pictured as being right up to the ports and cooling that way. It did some with 3 different silicon covers - 2 different sizes- so you can customize it a bit. It has a short USB cable for power... so the thing that I run into is this:

I cannot get the fan right up to the ports because I'm using one for the device itself.
Often I'm using another for my mouse adaptor as well - this is marketed towards gamers but not conducive to being teamed up with a mouse.

I sometimes have an atypical setup - I often use my Macbook in my lap while in my recliner. I tend to put the computer on a pillow to elevate it a bit.
This cooler, when placed under the laptop on the pillow was great - did the job, cooling it from the bottom. I didn't mind that it slanted my computer because , being on the pillow it all worked out.

it's pretty loud - it is adjustable but in order for it ti have enough power for effective, it needs to run loud.
