Fantastic. Second one of these we've purchased. This one better than the first - love the ability to turn on/off using the button directly on the brick. Love that it goes into "sleep mode" after X-amount of time of non-use. Great buy, works with 90% of the devices we have (not great for tablets unfortunately - would be great if they added a tablet-tip set). If they did that this universal would be the only charger ever needed. 5* product for sure and if ever I need another universal, this is the one I'll buy...again. Thanks!

Save yourself the trouble and the money, go buy a different charger.

I wouldn't recommend this product at all to anyone. Its a good idea but the worst possible execution. The charger never knows when to be on or off so it just turns on and off whenever it feels like it. The design creates a lot of heat, so much so that I get worried it might set itself on fire. I've had chargers that got hot but this one you cant even pick up. Their is no way to interact with the product to make it so it doesn't turn off, it just does whatever it feels is best.

Doesn't support the newer laptops. Check adapter tips before you buy!

It's a fine universal adapter until you buy a new laptop. 2014 or later. It doesn't support newer HP's and nothing on their website hints at any support. I'm having to throw this out and start search for a new travel charger/adapter. One that will support its product in pace with the industry. Too bad.

Almost perfect

It doesn't have a fitting for the newest HP laptops. Having all the newest fittings was one of the reasons why I purchased it. And a minor annoyance having to hit the green power button every time I shut down a laptop to restore power is annoying but I guess if it saves power it is worth it

iGo is iGone

iGo no longer supports any of these products. No new tips, customer service gives you the blow-off. They don't care. They have your money. Lifetime support and tip upgrades is why people bought these products -- and why people would pay a premium for it. Now, that's done.

its ok could be better

arrived today 1-06-15 and is working as expected for one my laptops the seller advertised that it comes with a gateway pin but it does not so that was a little disappointing but i use it on my girlfriends laptop which is a dell and there a pin for that one. its a smart charger you leave it plugged in and well it charges until the battery is full then it goes in to a stand by mode till the battery need to charge then it goes back to charging again then repeats it features a power button to manually shut on or off and a usb port to charge other devices also included in the box was different wall adapters for the different countries but one thing comes to concern is that the charger brick makes some kinds of static popping sound maybe this normal i will update as times goes

Good universal charger for international travel

This worked great at home in the US as well as while traveling in the UK. There was an appropriate charging tip for each of my coworkers' laptops.

I found other reviews to be correct that the adapter must be turned on after plugged in and that the "green" feature will turn it off once the attached devices are no longer drawing power. So it's not an issue e.g. while a laptop is in constant use, only perhaps when solely a mobile device is charging from the USB port and reaches 100% overnight.

Also, regarding size, the block is much thinner but longer and wider than my Lenovo OEM. It's a trade off.

reliable, easy, eco-friendly, cost-effective

so far so good. i cant test the international cords until next year, but I love this model and the international capabilities make it worth the extra few $ since I travel quite a bit. This model is no longer being made though :-( so I hope this one lasts as long as the first one did (last one lasted about 4 years, it only quit working after it got chewed on by a dog).
