There were some mixed reviews of this product, but mine is just perfect. It is a thin neoprene lined with fabric, so it offers some protection from bumps and scratches, but I was not expecting anything more. I usually carry my MacBook Air in a brief case that has a large pad built in, so I didn't need bulletproof protection. The stitching is flawless, the zippers work fine, the front zippered pouch is very handy, and my device fits well albeit a bit loosely. I would definitely buy again.

Horrible quality

I ordered this Sleeve in December and by mid January the teeth of the zipper won't close, the material around the zipper was tearing, the zipper pull broke off, and the two zippers for the main section of the sleeve went off track and cannot be put back into alignment. Also i have a hard shell on my Macbook Pro and it fit a little too snug. Over all a horrible purchase. Don't waste your money on this.

This case is very nice. I received this as a gift. It is padded pretty good. I ADORE the front pocket! That is something that I missed on my previous sleeve, as I didn't want to scratch my Macbook by carrying my charger or anything else in the same compartment. The only reason I give this product a 4-star instead of a 5-star rating is that the case isn't exactly snug. It has a little extra room for the computer to move around, but I guess I could use the space to tote paperwork and such.
