The case comes in clear plastic case that protects it from getting dirty (I kept mine). My laptop is more of a 13inch but I decided to purchase this one because I think the bigger the better. I like the external pocket, it was a nice edition to the case and seals the deal of buying this product. You have more space to put things :)
But after putting all my stuff in...it looks bulky xD
Overall really like this, enjoyed purchasing it, and would definitely buy another one!

Great case for the money.

The case is very nice and pretty much exactly as described. My HP 14-inch elite book fits in it with room to spare. (Notebook measures 13 3/8" x 9 1/8" x 1 3/8"). The neoprene is sufficiently thick without being too bulky and the lining is soft and protective -- but a different color (gray) than appears in the pics (pink). I am okay with the color of the interior; however, there are also two small web handles with snaps sewn into the interior of the case, which are not shown in the pics. They are an added-feature that some may like. I could, but don't think that I will ever, use them to carry the case around. I bought the case to protect my notebook in my knapsack. The snaps are metal, uncovered and could scratch the case of my notebook, so I may cut the handles off, or at least put protective tape over the exposed metal. It's weird that the handles are not shown in the pics or mentioned in the description. As I say, some people might like them.

14 inch is the length of the long side of the case not the diagonal measurement

I don't know if they sent me the wrong size, but this case is 14 inches LONG, not 14 inches as the diagonal length. I have a 14" Sony and this was 1 inch too long for my laptop. My laptop is also very thin for a PC so this combined with the extra inch of length on the side made it exceptionally too big for my laptop. However, it fit my bulky 15.6" HP perfectly.

This case is of very good quality and if this was the right size, I would give 5 stars.

Perfect fit for 15" Macbook Pro Retina

iPearl's 14-inch Neoprene Sleeve fits my Macbook Pro Retina 15" perfectly. It is tighter with the iPeal mCover on the Macbook. the iPearl sleeves a bargain at less than half the price than the inCase product sold here and at Apple stores. Finding a reasonably priced neoprene sleeve that really fits a 15" Macbook Pro Retina was more difficult than I expected as other similarly priced, but also well maid sleeves are really designed for the dimensions of 15-16" Windows laptops.

The iPearl sleeve also has hidden handles on the inside of the sleeve that seem more superfluous than useful especially as using them requires leaving the sleeve open at the top. I am debating cutting them out just to avoid scratching my case.

Finally, the biggest, and unexpected bonus was Amazon's same day delivery. While I found the sleeve on the same day delivery page, when I bought the sleeve, the shipping time was listed as two days. But, lo and behold, the sleeve arrived the same day. The same day delivery was wonderful as I had returned a sleeve earlier that day to Amazon that was two big for the 15" Macbook Pro Retina.
