OK fit for XPS 13 (early 2015); hidden carry handles

The inside dimensions are closer to 8.25" height at the edges to 9" heigh near the center. This is taller than the claimed 8" (12" width is pretty accurate) and so it leave some room at the top for my 8" XPS 13 (9343, Early 2015)

Not visible in any of the pictures: a pair of carrying handles stitched inside the sleeve. These block the zipper and include snaps, so it's good thing there's the extra height so the snaps won't be scratching the computer (see picture).

Also not visible in their photos: bright green lining on the black one. Unexpected, but I like it. Actual color is much yellower green than in the attached photo (winter light).

This product was recommended somewhere as a good option for the new MacBook 12" (which, because it's so new, there aren't a lot of cases made for yet) but in fact it is too large for the computer if you want a very glove-like fit. This product works, but I didn't like all the room around the computer. I ended up giving it to my son to use with his 13" MacAir and it's perfect for that. A nice product and well-priced, but not ideal for the new Mac 12-inch.

Very nice sleeve/case...

This sleeve is really nice. Soft and it fits the 11 inch Mac Air very nicely. I gave four stars due to the fact that the sleeve did develop and small tear on the zipper fabric that keeps the zipper from working properly. Ipearl did replace my sleeve immediately with a brand new sleeve no questions asked. They also did not require me to sen the old one back. They were more than happy to help me and ge the new sleeve shipped immediately.

I really like this sleeve and believe it will serve it's purpose for a very long time. I highly recommend this sleeve!

Purchased based on numerous ten best laptop sleeve articles and have not been disappointed. This is a great, well-designed sleeve at a fair price and none of the details are overlooked. I purchased for my 12" macbook and in one article's description said it was not a tight fit and would accommodate a macbook with a case. This i found was true, but even with my moshi snap on hard case (similar to a speck case), there is a lot of wiggle room that isn't ideal but this being a universal fit case does what its designed to do. it protects well and the outer pocket is large and perfect for bringing a charging cable, mouse, and flash drives and is elastic enough you can fit much larger items if need be. This is a fantastic value and small details did not even get overlooked such as the zipper pulls are larger, two color rubber pieces that aid in quickly opening and closing the sleeve. The only thing i am left wanting is a charging specific zipper as some other higher end cases provide that works smoother than in the iPearl.

CARRYING HANDLES

Please note that, as other reviewers have mentioned, this product does come with carrying handles stitched inside of it which are not mentioned in its description. Because of this, there is about an inch of extra space at the top. The handles also have metal snaps on them which may scratch up your device. The handles are thin and do not feel very sturdy, but I cut them out immediately upon receipt of the item so I cannot speak to their durability. Otherwise, I have had a nearly identical case of this same brand for about two years now and have been happy with it - just needed a different size for my new laptop. I will re-review this product if it does not meet my expectations. This case should NOT be purchased to protect your device from drops or impact, but should be very effective in protecting it from scratches and bumps when in something like a bookbag.
