Cheap insurance while adding a touch of color and style to your Chromebook.

Received mine as a promo from an iPearl representative at an educational technology conference that I attended (so no, my purchase is not verified but the fact mine was free as no impact on my opinion of this product). The fit and finish were fantastic as it quickly snapped on my Asus C300 Chromebook. I also have one of their cases on my MacBook Pro and it has been on for nearly 2 years and don't have any issues with it. The finish is smooth, but it does attract some finger prints and I don't know what people are complaining about because the aqua blue color of the case, with the black color of the C300 Chromebook makes for a cool Tron-esque color scheme that I think looks just fine (even for a dude). The fold out legs on the bottom are fairly long, but sturdy and will assist in ventilation for the C300 (although it is one of the coolest running devices that I have ever owned, even when streaming Netflix). At some point iPearl also switched to a grippy silicone for the nubs on the bottom of the cover and they do not slide on the desktop where I have the C300 hooked up in my classroom. All I'm going to say is that yeah, the cover may not survive a drop down the stairs, but it will save your Chromebook's plastic from scuffs, scratches and impacts that might otherwise crack the plastic on the laptop itself. For the little bit these things cost, I feel it is cheap insurance. As a side note, I do feel that they add a bit of structural rigidity to the Chromebook which tend to be fairly thin and not always as stout as your aluminum bodied laptop. Last thing (for what it is worth) you also get lifetime free replacements on the legs should they break, and the silicone feet, should they come off so that does show that iPeal does support their product. The case itself also has a 1 year warranty which has to be one of the few times (if only time) that a peripheral cover actually has some sort of guarantee and it was not made by Otterbox or Life Proof.

It fits perfectly. We got this because some reviews said the Chromebook was easily scratched. Since the Chromebook will take its wear and tear getting in and out of a case several times a day and working its way around classrooms while in use, the case seemed like a really good idea. It'll be easy to clean with some Windex electronics wipes. It's going over a black laptop, which makes it look not quite as blue as in the picture, but it still looks great. It'll probably end up getting some decoupaged things on the underside anyway, so no worries there.

This is the 2nd one I ordered. I made sure to double check my laptop size this time to be accurate. When I received it, the corners are different, it does not fit at all. I was very excited about it but it won't even latch onto my laptop. I also emailed them twice to send the other back, I have heard nothing so I guess I will not even try with this one.
