So,I was so excited when i got mine on the mail. However when i tried putting it on the top part went on smoothly but the bottom part does not fit. I only need the top part so that my computer lid doesnt get scatch when i put it inside my backpack. It would have been nice if the bottom part fits as well.....

Not the right size, dont waste your time

This is not the right size for my laptop. My laptop is 15.6" this is too small by a large amount. I would not recommend this for anyone because it is going to waste your time. You will have to return it as I am in the process of doing now, then you will have to order from a brand name that actually will fit. At least prime shipping is free. The bottom piece does not even belong to this type of laptop. I am not sure how they could be off by as much as this is, but it is about 2 or 3 inches too small on the width and height

My wife has one on her HP Pavilion G6 2xxx series laptop in purple and my daughter, who has the same laptop as her mom, has a pink one on hers. They fit really well. Just make sure you get the right one for YOUR laptop and you'll love it, too! They come in a whole bunch of colors, to which is actually kinda cool.
