If you read other reviews and are hesitant to purchase this shell case, don't be! I just got mine today and am quite impressed with it. It is not at all flimsy and exactly what I wanted to protect my laptop from scratches and smudges. Snaps on and off quite easily and fits perfectly.
The bottom is vented to let the heat out and it's even got two legs on the bottom to lift it up a bit.
I bought the aqua color and it's beautiful!
