Looks great, protects well

This is the second iPearl mCover I purchased. The first was for my wife's 11.6" Asus x202e, and I wrote a bad shipping review on that one. The problem was that they didn't protect the shell in the shipping envelope, and the first one had small cracks. The replacement was shipped the exact same way, but arrived in good shape. Everytime I picked up my wife's cute little silver laptop with a clear mCover, I was impressed with how well the case fit...It looks like it is part of the laptop instead of just a cover. So I eventually bought one for my main computer. I've since traveled several times with this case on my HP, so feel that I can fairly review it.

I've owned it for 8 months... just finished a two week technical class in Dubai, and carried it to and from class each day. I love the retractable feet that put it at an angle for typing and increased air flow. I hadn't really used the feature much before, but it was great for class. My classmates all had their laptops flat on the table. The guy next to me with a Macbook Pro liked my case, but I didn't bother telling him they make these for Macs :)

I have a 15.6 inch HP Envy laptop, and ordered the case after reading the description and seeing my laptop's model listed as fitting this model. Unfortunately, it doesn't. It really is unfortunate, because the case looks so beautiful and really seems to be quite durable. The top snaps into place, but goes about half an inch past the bottom of the screen, and the bottom is made for a computer with a much deeper base and can't click into place even at one side. Exceptionally, exceptionally unfortunate, and also disappointing, because the description of the item does say that it fits my computer's make and model.
