This battery I thought at first may not have been the right one, but it is. Gateway laptop, like the really big ones? That's what I have and have been using a terrible old battery for about a year now. This new battery is affordable and fit right into the space immediately. My laptop runs so much better, thank you for this battery!! The charge also lasts a few hours. Be sure to let it fully charge up before turning it on, and make sure it runs dead before you plug it back in. This is to get the longest lasting charge out of your battery. Do not leave your laptop plugged in constantly or it will ruin the battery.
